NBA Best Player Prop Picks, Odds, Predictions for Friday, June 5, 2026
The Knicks continued their improbable postseason winning streak with a highly impressive Game 1 win at Frost Bank Center, a notoriously difficult road environment from the beginning of the regular season. That lends a massive sense of urgency to the Spurs for Friday’s Game 2, as Games 3 and 4 loom at Madison Square Garden.
As customary, we zero in on three player props to consider for tonight’s action. Also, be sure to check out our daily NBA betting trends page for odds and data on every game.

Josh Hart (NYK) – Over Rebounds
While Jalen Brunson’s otherworldly offensive exploits were undeniably the driving force behind the Knicks’ Game 1 success, Hart did a massive amount of grunt work on the boards and on defense. The versatile veteran took only five shots from the field and found the net just once on those attempts, but he pulled down a massive 15 rebounds while also dishing out six assists and tallying four steals and one block. Hart’s energy on the boards is naturally nothing new — Wednesday marked his 12th game with at least seven rebounds in New York’s 15-game postseason sample.
Hart has hit the Over on the 8.5 in nine of 15 postseason contests overall, and he posted eight and 10 rebounds in his two regular-season encounters with San Antonio. Hart is now converting 63.6% of his 14.3 rebounding opportunities in the postseason, netting him an average of 8.7 boards per contest. While another 15-rebound performance is almost certainly not in the cards, he should remain a constant presence on the glass in Game 2.

Stephon Castle (SAO) – Over Points + Rebounds + Assists
As he’s done throughout the postseason, Castle made important contributions in multiple categories during the Game 1 loss, finishing with 17 points, eight rebounds and three assists across 34 minutes. The second-year guard was only 7-for-16 from the floor, but he’s still shooting a solid 47.5% over the entirety of the Spurs’ 19-game postseason run. Despite the inefficiency from the field, Castle still cleared the 27.5 points + rebounds + assists number for the fourth straight game and 13th time overall since the conclusion of the regular season.
Castle also had one tally of 34 points + rebounds + assists against the Knicks in the regular season, that coming in the NBA Cup title game. Castle is seeing 11.3 rebounding chances per game since the start of the Western Conference Finals and is converting them at a 47.8% clip, and he’s averaging 20.4 points off assists from 15.5 potential assist opportunities per contest in that same span. Given his robust 24.5% usage rate this postseason, Castle is a candidate to eclipse 27.5 points + rebounds + assists in a game where the Spurs should be aggressive.

Dylan Harper (SAO) – Over Points + Rebounds + Assists
Harper seemingly never got the memo about the challenge a rookie’s first postseason can pose, as he’s followed up what was an impressive regular season with more of the same. The Rutgers product has unequivocally proven he can meet the moment effectively, delivering 13.2 points (on 52.9% shooting), 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 steals across 25.7 minutes over San Antonio’s 19 postseason contests to date. He got the Finals started in the right way Wednesday, furnishing 16 points (on 60% shooting), eight rebounds, one assist and one steal across 28 minutes.
The first-year star has now logged at least 20 minutes in all but one of San Antonio’s 19 postseason games to date, including at least 25 in three of the last four contests, games where the stakes have been incredibly high for the Spurs. In addition to his sharp shooting efforts, Harper is capitalizing on his rebound and assist opportunities. He’s converted 63.2% of his 9.5 rebounding opportunities and generated 8.1 points created off his 7.0 assist opportunities per contest since the start of the Western Conference Finals, and he’s 11-8 to the Over on the 19.5 PRA number, including 3-0 since Game 6 of the WCF.
