2026 PGA Championship Top LIV Player Odds
LIV Players In The Field
There are 11 LIV players securely in the 2026 PGA Championship field. That is just one more than LIV’s total representatives at 2026 Masters, however this will be a fresh new look. Instead of the old-timer past champion crew that littered the Masters field, this week features a new wave of hopeful contenders.
The following LIV players are in the 2026 PGA Championship field
- Bryson DeChambeau
- Thomas Detry
- Tyrrell Hatton
- Dustin Johnson
- Martin Kaymer
- Tom McKibbin
- Joaquin Niemann
- David Puig
- Jon Rahm
- Cameron Smith
- Elvis Smylie
Can a LIV Player Win The PGA Championship?
Of course! In its short history, Brooks Koepka (2023 PGA Championship) and Bryson DeChambeau (2024 U.S. Open) are the only players to have won a major while actively playing on LIV.
The PGA Championship has seen plenty of close calls from LIV players over the years. Jon Rahm closely contended with Scottie Scheffler up until the back nine on Sunday at the 2025 PGA Championship. Bryson DeChambeau would have taken Xander Schauffele to a playoff in 2024 had Xander not converted a testy 7-footer for birdie on the last.
That makes three consecutive years in which LIV players have been a factor in this tournament, so it’s best to understand who the top contenders from LIV are heading into this week.
Top LIV Contenders
As I look through the list of LIV contenders this year, there are two elites who are in a class of their own. Unlike the Masters, which primarily featured older past champions from LIV, there are plenty of young talents in this week’s field who are capable of making a run. Below are the four most interesting LIV players to watch out for at the 2026 PGA Championship.
Jon Rahm
Outright Odds:
Top-10 Odds:
Was Jon Rahm’s disappointing T38 finish at The Masters just a blip on the radar, or the sign of a greater concern that LIV’s schedule may not be preparing him as diligently as he needs for difficult major conditions? Removing his one poor Masters result, Rahm has two wins and three runner-up finishes over seven starts on LIV this season.
Rahm is unequivocally the best player on LIV this season, and in theory, should set up very well on Aronimink’s classical design with emphasizes strong total driving and approach play. Rahm’s history at the PGA Championship is very mixed, but is highlighted by three top-10 finishes, including a T8 at Quail Hollow last year.
Bryson DeChambeau
Outright Odds:
Top-10 Odds:
There was no bigger disappointment at the first major of the year than Bryson DeChambeau. The hottest player on LIV this season was a shell of himself at Augusta, ultimately missing the cut.
Bryson has done everything but win at the PGA Championship, with finishes of T2, 2nd, T4, and T4 over his last five trips. Like McIlroy, there is a pathway for DeChambeau to overpower this course. He will be especially dangerous if conditions are soft.
Tyrrell Hatton
Outright Odds:
Top-10 Odds:
Hatton carried LIV on his back at The Masters last month and was the only player from his Tour to show up in Augusta, ultimately posting a career-best T3 finish at the Masters. He has three top-10 finishes over his last six LIV starts, and has started to look like his vintage self again by leaning on the strengths of his driving accuracy, approach play, and short game.
Hatton came closest to winning a major at the 2025 U.S. Open, finishing T4 at Oakmont CC. While significantly more challenging of a golf course, Oakmont was designed to emphasize driving accuracy and elite approach play, much like what I anticipate will be needed at Aronimink this week. Overall, this is a great course fit for Hatton’s game, and his game looks to be improving since we last saw him at Augusta.
Thomas Detry
Outright Odds:
Top-10 Odds:
It’s easy to overlook the non-household names on LIV, with the league drawing so little viewership and media pickup over the years. As a result, Thomas Detry is a player who seems to be flying under the radar leading into this week.
Detry was a solid player on the PGA Tour prior to LIV, and won the WM Phoenix Open in decisive fashion before making the jump to the rival league. He’s playing confidently of late, with top-7 finishes in five of his first seven starts on LIV this season. Detry’s best career major finish was a T4 at the 2024 PGA Championship at Valhalla.
Best of luck with your Masters bets and check in each day this week for more Masters analysis!
