WM Phoenix Open Odds & Golf DFS Picks: 4 Best Bets & Sleeper Picks, Including 250-1 Longshot

The best party in golf takes place this week in Arizona. We continue handicapping 2026 WM Phoenix Open odds, for the tournament known as Wasted Management and The People’s Open at TPC Scottsdale. After successfully landing on Nick Taylor at 170-1 odds in this article in 2024, we’ll look to keep the party going as we shift our golf DFS picks focus to the 2026 WM Phoenix Open.

Maybe it’s the disorienting pressure of hundreds of thousands of raucous fans pumping life into this event or simply the all-around tee-to-green test of TPC Scottsdale. But in any case, this has been a tournament where the cream rises to the top. The list of past champions and regular contenders is littered with those who have steadily contended in majors, The Players, or Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup atmospheres.

That setup is not especially conducive to betting longshots. However, high-upside sleepers in this field are still worth consideration for placement bets and your DFS lineups.

Let’s get to our 2026 WM Phoenix Open longshots and sleepers for golf DFS lineups and betting cards. Click on the odds anywhere below to bet now at the best available prices in your state.

Finding Value in the WM Phoenix Open Field

To identify “value” any given week on the PGA Tour, I find it’s best first to understand the consensus key stat profile, then take a stance on the elements of the tournament that may go overlooked. At the WM Phoenix Open, recent form, SG: ball striking, and course history are key areas factored into each player’s price.

From a sleeper perspective, I will take a stance on the importance of SG: T2G in comp course conditions and prioritize heavier weight on course history instead of recent form as key areas to differentiate my player pool and find value for this week’s tournament.

Below, find my favorite golf DFS picks and longshots for the 2026 WM Phoenix Open. Stats were pulled from the last 36 rounds unless otherwise noted. Each player is listed with the best price in WM Phoenix Open odds.

WM Phoenix Open Course Specs

For a deeper dive into the course, read my WM Phoenix Open preview. Below are my favorite Waste Management Phoenix Open sleeper picks:

Nicolai Hojgaard ()

Hojgaard bears plenty in common with the 2025 WM Phoenix Open champion Thomas Detry. Both are young European bombers, excellent ball-strikers, and winless on the PGA TOUR leading up to this tournament. He can be found at a slight discount this week compared to his brother, Rasmus, but I believe it’s Nicolai who stands to fare best at TPC Scottsdale.

He’s gotten off to a hot start in 2026, with finishes of T4 and T22 in his first two starts of the year. The T4 was notable, coming at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic less than two weeks ago. Ranking top-20 in my model this week, Hojgaard is a great fit for the course and will look to improve on a top-40 finish in his only other appearance at this event.

Max Homa ()

The California king will head “home” to Scottsdale (his place of residence) after a disappointing missed cut at last week’s Farmers Insurance Open. The missed cut was a result of uncharacteristically poor putting, however, so I remain just as optimistic about Homa’s outlook at a discounted price one week later.

TPC Scottsdale has consistently rewarded in-form ball strikers, demanding aggressive tee shots and approaches with water and natural hazards threatening throughout. Homa has remained a model of consistency with his ball striking of late, gaining on the field in both SG: OTT and SG: APP in nine of his last 10 starts.

Homa’s best result over that stretch was a T9 at the Bank of Utah Championship in comparable desert conditions, and he did so while playing less than 100% at the time with a bone spur in his ankle. Homa ranks No. 5 overall in my model this week and will look to add to a WM Phoenix Open resume that already includes a pair of top-15 finishes.

Haotong Li ()

This will mark the third consecutive week I’m backing Haotong Li, and he’s given me no reason to stop with odds still slow to adjust to his current form. TPC Scottsdale is a ball striker’s paradise, with contenders ranking atop the leaderboard in terms of SG: BS year over year. Li is on a ball-striking tear at the moment, ranking No. 1 and No. 8 in SG: BS in his last two starts at the Farmers Insurance Open and American Express.

He comes to Scottsdale now with a stretch of four top-12 finishes over his last five starts. He is set to make his WM Phoenix Open debut this week, but if his hot start to this season has taught us anything, he has no problem acclimating to new courses quickly. A contender throughout the 2025 Open Championship, Haotong has what it takes to handle the unique atmosphere of the WM Phoenix Open.

Ryan Fox ()

It’s not often you can find a two-time winner from the prior season available at odds this long, and given Fox’s current form, I don’t think he’s done enough to warrant such a precipitous drop down the board. Fox comes to Scottsdale amid a streak of eight consecutive made cuts while staying active on the DP World Tour. He’s chosen to make his 2026 PGA Tour debut at the WM Phoenix Open, where he’s successfully made it through the cut in his first two appearances.

Fox has proven he can handle a high-octane fan atmosphere, winning the 2025 RBC Canadian Open. TPC Scottsdale has consistently rewarded aggressive players off-the-tee such as Thomas Detry, Scottie Scheffler, Brooks Koepka, and Hideki Matsuyama, so it would not surprise me to see Fox join that list of winners here. Given his current made-cut streak, Fox has an appealing floor this week as a top-40 placement or a value fantasy play.

Best of luck if you bet or play these golf DFS picks for the 2026 WM Phoenix Open.
