2026 WTA Strasbourg Open Bracket Analysis
Quarter 1
Victoria Mboko is the top player in Strasbourg, listed as the No. 1 seed and atop Quarter 1 despite a rough clay court season. Mboko also had to pull out of Rome due to an injury, so there are many question marks surrounding the No. 1 seed in Strasbourg. The draw, however does favor her to come out of Quarter 1, with Xinyu Wang and Lois Boisson as potential first opponents. Leylah Fernandez seems to be the likely candidate to best rid Mboko out of Quarter 1 in a potential Canadian meeting for the quarter.
Quarter 2
Quarter 2 seems to be up for grabs, as Liudmila Samsonova at the bottom has been inconsistent all season and Clara Tauson at the top is dealing with injuries. This leaves great value for the remaining non-qualifiers in Peyton Stearns, Maria Sakkari and Jaqueline Cristian. While all three have had below average clay seasons, they have all had bright spots on tour this season with potential to finally push through.
The winner of Stearns-Sakkari is tough to pick, but whoever prevails is a great sleeper pick to win the quarter should they get by a potential meeting with Samsung. This is why we like JAC of the three, also presenting great fight as losses are usually long, three-set battles. She also has great success on clay in past seasons, but finally sees a draw that isn’t overly difficult out of the gates. Although this quarter presents a great sleeper pick to work with, Tauson’s health will ultimately dictate it.
Quarter 3
Iva Jovic is set up nicely in Quarter 3, depending on which Madison Keys shows up as the two lethal Americans are lined up opposite in this section. Also, Emma Navarro faces Sara Bejlek the first round. Cristina Bucsa and Emma Raducanu are also lumped in this quarter, a true who’s who of unpredictability outside of Jovic. Her clay court game is vastly improving each week, and has the second-shortest odds to win this event.
However, the names listed above in Jovic’s quarter are very much wild card players. Keys, Bejlek, Navarro and Bucsa can all go on runs as likely as they can lose to any opponent listed in front of them. Because of the unpredictable play from almost every player listed in this quarter, we side with Jovic as our pick strictly based on consistency compared to the others. Key’s form will dictate this quarter, despite the Jovic pick.
Quarter 4
Rabat defending champion Maya Joint is in Quarter 4, but the top player is Ekaterina Alexandrova who is still trying to find traction this season. This draw and event might be the turning point for her, in a very winnable draw depending on which Ann Li shows up in a potential Round 2 meeting. Above Alexandrova’s section lies some solid contenders, however, as the winner of Czech’s Marie Bouzkova and Katerina Siniakova could very well take the quarter. Alexandra Eala is also a popular pick for many, but on clay the conviction to win a tournament isn’t quite there yet.
Alexandrova, on paper, is the pick despite struggles this season. Siniakova, depending on her thigh, is probably your best bet here although Bouzkova has a clay court title from Bogota already. With all the names mentioned, Li is the best dark horse to consider as Joint’s form is still off while Alexandrova’s form is actually underneath Li’s at the moment. Alexandrova’s form will dictate this quarter.
Tournament Pick: Iva Jovic +750
Sleeper Pick: Jaqueline Cristian +1800

2026 WTA Grand Prix La Princesse Lalla Meryem Bracket Analysis
Quarter 1
Quarter 1 has a few names that could win it, while Janice Tjen as the No. 1 seed in Rabat lies at the very top. Her form hasn’t been enough to back, however, even as the top dog in Morocco. Below her are a few stand out names such as Camila Osorio, Ajla Tomljanovic and Panna Udvardy – the last name earning a seed with stellar clay court play this season.
Udvardy is probably the most intriguing name in Quarter 1 based on recent clay court form, although Osorio is probably the most trustworthy on the surface. With that said, Tomljanovic does have a decent path to try and bounce back after some recent tough losses with a solid opening to the 2026 season. Those three seem to be better plays than Tjen given the value as well, so look in that direction when circling a winner from Quarter 1.
Quarter 2
Buckle up for Quarter 2. The winner of Simona Waltert and Anhelina Kalinina seems to be a good choice, as Yuliia Starodubtseva is still looking for the same success she saw in Charleston. Anna Bondar as the No. 5 seed probably makes the most sense to highlight in this section, as Emiliana Arango seems to be her biggest threat from reaching the quarters. With that said, Arango has been shaky since Bogota so the path for Bondar is there to reach the quarterfinals.
It seems likely Bondar will face a Ukrainian opponent for the quarter, but which one? Kalinina’s talent we’ll take over almost everyone in this quarter, but her health issues make it tough to back for an entire week. Starodubtseva is in a nice position to gain some confidence again with the draw laid out, but if Kalinina is healthy then we’ll side with her head-to-head. Bondar seems like the best pick based on path and recent clay results.
Quarter 3
Personally, we’d like to see Alycia Parks come out of this section but the clay court surface doesn’t add conviction to that. Tatjana Maria is the top name in Quarter 3, not a terrible pick with her slice and dice game on the clay court surface. She also has, possibly, the easiest path to a quarterfinal appearance than any other seeded player. The winner of Jil Teichmann vs. Julia Grabher should also be considered, which will likely be Teichmann.
The quarter is set up nicely for Parks, on paper, but the clay court surface scares us a bit. There isn’t a lot of conviction in picking a winner from Quarter 3 but Maria, Parks, Teichmann are a nice 1, 2, 3 to start with.
Quarter 4
Jessica Bouzas Maneiro has a nice set up in the bottom of the Rabat draw, the No. 2 seed and top name in Quarter 4. The only name that should scare Bouzas Maneiro bettors is Petra Marcinko, as the two should meet in the quarters pending a possible run from Francesca Jones. Of all the seeds, Bouzas Maneiro has probably the most balanced conviction for us in terms of form on the surface and path in the brackets.
Tournament Pick: Jessica Bouzas Maneiro +650
Sleeper Pick: Anna Bondar +1400
