The PGA Tour’s Fall Series continues on, as the PGA Tour’s international swing takes us to Southampton, Bermuda, for the 2026 Butterfield Bermuda Championship. All of the PGA Tour’s best have opted to remain stateside this week, as an unsatisfactory weather forecast has kept every quality player away. With just eight OWGR top-100 players in this field of 120, it figures to be one of the weakest fields we see all year.

Bermuda has been a haven for longshots, even if the bottom of the board leaves little to get excited over. Coastal winds are known to bring volatility, making this an appealing spot for bettors to identify value amongst proven players on comparable courses and conditions. That is the profile I’ll be looking for in search of this week’s best value plays.

In this article, we’ll look for diamonds in the rough ahead of the 2026 Butterfield Bermuda Championship.

Butterfield Bermuda Championship Odds

Port Royal GC Course Introduction

Port Royal Golf Course is a Robert Trent Jones-designed public course in Southampton, Bermuda. It was founded in 1965, underwent renovation in 2009, and has been on the PGA Tour schedule since 2020. In its first year, the Bermuda Championship ran opposite the WGC-HSBC China event. But in the ensuing five years as a primary event, it has still struggled to attract a formidable field.

The elements will always play a significant role in determining a winner at the Bermuda Championship. In 2023, Taylor Pendrith gave up a sizable lead on Sunday, playing through afternoon rain and wind that eventually forced a temporary stoppage. Last year, Braden Thornberry carded an 80 on Sunday after entering the final round as the 54-hole leader. So, while the scorecard yardage and hole layouts may not look intimidating, the ability to flight tee shots and approaches through the wind and navigate steep elevation changes are unique skill sets needed at Port Royal GC.

At 6,828 yards, Port Royal GC is the shortest par-71 on tour and the second shortest overall behind only TPC River Highlands. It has produced consistent results from short-course specialists like Brendon Todd, Brian Gay, and Ryan Armour. With that said, we’ve also seen an advantage to bombers when the elements pick up, given the persistence of headwinds on this highly exposed coastal setup.

There is not much hidden yardage on this course. All three par-5s are under 555 yards, six par-4s measure under 400 yards, and only one par-4 measures above 450 yards. With that said, the wind will make this course play more difficult than the scorecard yardage would suggest, and only eight holes have a scoring average under par.

Butterfield Bermuda Championship Golf DFS Picks & Longshot Bets

To identify “value” any given week on the PGA Tour, I find it’s best first to understand the consensus key stat profile. Then, take a stance on the elements of the tournament that may go overlooked. At the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, Recent Form, SG: APP, and Birdies or Better Gained are consensus key areas factored into each player’s price.

From a golf DFS picks perspective, I will take a stance primarily on the importance of Comp Course History and Bermuda Putting, and experience playing in high winds. The wind was the story last year, forcing stoppages throughout the week, and concluding Sunday amidst 40 MPH gusts. Combatting the wind requires patience, experience, and a deep bag of shots at flighted trajectories. It’s not everyone’s favorite style of golf, but for those who’ve cracked the code, it can be a repeatable formula.

Below, find my favorite value PGA golf fantasy picks and longshots for the 2026 Butterfield Bermuda Championship. Stats pulled across the Last 36 Rounds unless otherwise noted. Their odds of winning the event are also shown.

John Parry

Parry’s path to his 2026 PGA Tour rookie season has been anything but conventional. The soon-to-be-40-year-old was Rory McIlroy’s teammate on the 2007 Walker Cup team has had quite the career journey overseas, but has saved his best golf for the last year. Parry won the 2025 AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open in comparable coastal island conditions, and has elevated his baseline in windy conditions throughout his long career. Parry’s two best finishes of 2026 – a T8 at the Puerto Rico Open and T11 at the U.S. Open – both came on heavily wind-exposed tracks.

Leading into this week, Parry’s form has looked very encouraging. He’s played the Fall Swing with urgency, with two top-25 finishes over his first three starts. He’s been solid across the board this season, ranking top-40 in terms of SG: T2G, SG: Ball Striking, SG: APP, and SG: ARG over the last 36 rounds. While he’s set to make his debut in Bermuda this week, his experience in the wind should give him a distinct edge over one of the weakest fields of the PGA Tour season.

Austin Eckroat

The Oklahoma State alum has previously credited his success in windy conditions to his upbringing on the Oklahoma plains. The 27-year-old has already picked up two PGA Tour wins, each coming on comparable windy and coastal setups at the Cognizant Classic and World Wide Technology Championship in 2024. Eckroat’s game is heating up at the right time now too, with just one missed cut and four top-25 finishes over his last 14 starts. That includes a T24 in his most recent start at the Biltmore Championship, where he ranked 5th in SG: APP.

Eckroat’s history at Port Royal GC is a mixed bag, but that’s not unexpected on a volatile setup like this, which is heavily impacted by the wind. A T22 in his 2021 debut demonstrates an encouraging peek at his potential here, though, and he’ll enter this week riding far better form than ever before. Averaging nearly a full stroke gained per round putting on Bermuda greens, this is a great course set up for Eckroat to continue riding his hot form.

Kevin Streelman

Experience matters at Port Royal, and that doesn’t have to just mean experience on these grounds. Brian Gay, Camilo Villegas, and Rafael Campos have each picked up wins in the twilight of their careers at this event over the last six years. Playing in the wind is an art learned over time, and something veterans tend to be better-equipped to handle. That has been true in Streelman’s case, who ranks top-10 in the field in scoring in high winds over the last two seasons.

There’s plenty of reason to feel encouraged about Streelman’s trajectory this week too. He’s coming off an impressive T5 finish in his most recent start at the Bank of Utah Championship, where he was positive across all four strokes gained categories. Streelman is not going to out-ball-strike this field, but if winds are as heavy as they’re forecast, his experience and short game prowess may be enough to earn him his first PGA Tour win in over 10 years.

Paul Peterson

Approach Fit is a brand new stat I’ve started to obsess over this week. It extrapolates SG: APP into the ranges each player is most likely to play from as a function of their driving distance and the course setup. Port Royal is a perfect course setup for Peterson in that regard, as he ranks 5th in the field in Approach Fit, and top-10 across the approach buckets where 83% of his approaches are projected to come from at Port Royal.

Beyond the approach prowess, Peterson also ranks elite in Driving Accuracy (4th) and SG: ARG (7th). That means he should have ample looks from the fairway in his go-zone, but can reliably scramble too when high winds blow him off-target. A T24 at the Corales Puntacana Championship supports that his game translates well on coastal windy setups, and Port Royal’s short yardage should cater even better to his skill set this week.
