Game Betting Analysis
We’ll go with the Golden Knights to win outright, despite coming off a huge high in which they took out the No. 2 team in BYU less than a week ago. For starters, UCF has seen the home team win 10 straight games while Baylor is coming off a two-game losing streak. UCF has also seen the underdog cover the spread in 5 of 6 home games, which happens to be UCF at a +1.5-point spread. While the Over is intriguing as well, 48.5 on the line with 64.3 averaged per game inside Bounce House, Baylor enters with a 2-5 O/U record this season. We stick with the UCF moneyline for plus-value.

Deciding Factor: UCF’s Keyone Jenkins Surge vs. Baylor’s Offensive Line Problems
UCF comes into Friday on the high of the biggest win in program history — a 39-31 double-overtime upset of then-No. 2 BYU in which backup quarterback Keyone Jenkins, making just his fifth start since Alonza Barnett III went down with an injury, threw for 293 yards and 3 touchdowns, ran one in himself, and delivered the game-winner in the second overtime. Jenkins spread the ball around all night (Tyren Hornes had 6 catches for 137 yards, Duke Watson added 94 yards on the ground) and the Knights overcame a blocked field goal and a bizarre sequence of replay reviews late in regulation to pull off their first-ever win over a top-five opponent. At 4-3 and 2-2 in the Big 12, UCF now has real confidence behind a quarterback who’s been getting better with every start.
Baylor, meanwhile, is reeling in the opposite direction — a two-game losing streak that includes a 17-6 loss to TCU and a 25-24 defeat at Kansas, the Bears’ first loss to the Jayhawks since 2007. The Kansas game exposed exactly what’s gone wrong: Baylor managed only 122 rushing yards to Kansas’s 209, held the ball for just 23:19 of game time, and committed 12 penalties for 116 yards in a performance one Baylor outlet flatly called “pathetic” up front. Quarterback DJ Lagway actually led the team in rushing with 47 yards on designed runs, and a tipped pass led directly to the fourth-quarter interception that swung the game, even though Gavin Freeman (9 catches, 123 yards) gave him a reliable target. If Baylor’s offensive line can’t give Lagway room to operate against a UCF defense that just found a way to slow down BYU, this could be a third straight loss. If the Bears clean up the penalties and get their run game functioning again, they still have enough playmakers to beat a UCF team that’s proven it can be had in a shootout.
