Best Bet: MIL ML (+147) at bet365

Best Bet: U7.5 (-114)

Score Prediction: Brewers 4, Dodgers 3

The Pick: Brewers 4, Dodgers 3

We’ll take the Brewers again based on head-to-head data along with Milwaukee’s 20-4 run, while the Under is also a look based on Dodgers’ home trends.

Game Betting Analysis

It’s hard to stay away from the Brew Crew here, winning their last four games against the Dodgers along with five of the last six meetings. Entering the series, the data was all over Milwaukee and despite traveling to Dodger Stadium, we remain stagnant in the Brewers’ data. Milwaukee has now also won 20 of its last 24 games overall and is 4-1 outright over its last five games when playing as an underdog and coming off a rest day. Our setback is the Dodgers 9-0 home record over its last nine playoff home games against the NL Central. The Under has some conviction as well, hitting in four of six home games for the Dodgers when facing the Brewers while also hitting the Under in six straight home games.

Deciding Factor: Blake Snell’s Dodger Stadium Form vs. the Brewers’ Lefty Problem

The Dodgers arrive home in a position nobody around Chavez Ravine expected: down 0-2 in a postseason series for the first time since the 2023 NLDS, after back-to-back losses at American Family Field capped by a 7-4 Game 2 defeat in which Yoshinobu Yamamoto was chased after just 2 2/3 innings and the Brewers bullpen turned in “15 up, 15 down” across four perfect relief innings. That makes tonight about as close to must-win as a Game 3 gets, and Los Angeles is turning to the pitcher built for exactly this moment. Blake Snell carries a 2.19 ERA across five starts at Dodger Stadium in 2026 (postseason included) and a 1.39 FIP over his final five starts of the year, a stretch in which he didn’t allow a single home run. He’ll be making the 17th postseason start of his career and 20th postseason appearance overall, and he lines up against a Brewers lineup that’s shown a real platoon split all season — Milwaukee posted just a 97 wRC+ against left-handed pitching compared to 112 against right-handers. If Snell can finally deliver the deep outing Dave Roberts needs — something neither team’s starters have managed yet, with the longest start of the series topping out at five innings — it keeps L.A.’s taxed bullpen fresh and gives the Dodgers their best shot at clawing back into this series before it’s too late.

The Brewers, meanwhile, are countering with left-hander Robert Gasser off six days’ rest, and his lone career postseason start — an NLDS Game 4 outing — came against a Dodgers lineup that’s historically hit him well, with Los Angeles sitting at .312 against Gasser in a 48 at-bat sample even though he’s gone 2-0 with a 1.73 ERA over his last seven appearances. The bigger problem for L.A. isn’t the pitching matchup on paper, though — it’s what’s happened at the plate all series. The Dodgers are hitting just .193 this postseason and have gone hitless with runners in scoring position in four of their first six games, with Andy Pages the only player on the roster with a hit in a scoring situation (2-for-3) while the rest of the lineup sits 0-for-23. Shohei Ohtani (3-for-20, managing a right biceps issue and a left knee injury that had the team debating sitting him) and Will Smith (1-for-23) remain stuck, and Freddie Freeman is playing through a knee injury of his own. William Contreras, by contrast, has been Milwaukee’s engine all series — three hits, a homer and the go-ahead RBI single in Game 2 alone — and the Brewers’ bullpen has already out-worked their own rotation, 9 2/3 innings to 8 1/3, without missing a beat. If Gasser can push into the fifth or sixth and hand a lead to that bullpen, Milwaukee has a real path to a stranglehold 3-0 series lead that would leave the Dodgers needing a historic comeback just to survive.
