Blake Snell Over Outs Recorded
The Dodgers will turn to Snell to try and keep their quest for a third straight World Series alive. The left-hander had a mixed performance in his postseason debut, as he held Atlanta to one earned run on three hits, but he also issued five walks alongside his five strikeouts. The spotty control, which has been a recurring issue for Snell throughout his career, led to his pitch count hitting 90 and limited him to 3.2 innings.
The 14.5 outs recorded threshold is one that does seem to account for the possibility Snell gets a relatively early hook, but the matchup against the Brewers, hot as they are at the moment, does hold some promise. Snell has held current Milwaukee hitters to a collective .172 average and .274 OBP across 73 total plate appearances. Just as important, while Snell has issued nine walks in that sample, eight of them have been issued to Gary Sanchez, who hasn’t started a game in the postseason and made just one appearance back in Game 2 of the NLDS.
Snell had a not-horrible 3.4 BB/9 at Dodger Stadium during the 2026 campaign, and Milwaukee posted just a .304 wOBA against southpaws on the road during the second half of the regular season. If Snell is locked in – as is likely given the stakes – getting to five innings is very much within his wheelhouse despite the talent in the opposing lineup.

Andy Pages Over Hits + Runs + RBI
In keeping with the theme of the Dodgers rising to the occasion Wednesday, we turn to Pages, who has plenty of pop in his bat and has picked it up at the plate as the postseason has unfolded. Pages opened the playoffs going 0-for-7 with a walk and four strikeouts over the first two games of the NLDS, but he’s subsequently gone 5-for-13 with a walk, three RBI and a run over the next three playoff games.
Pages has yet to record an extra-base hit in the playoffs, an anomaly given he’s laced 106 of them combined in the last two regular seasons. Then, Pages has an .800 average with a double, a homer and two RBI over five career encounters with Gasser, and the slugging outfielder posted a .303 average, .959 OPS and .407 wOBA against lefties at home during the regular season.
Pages posted 44 hits + runs + RBI across 89 plate appearances in that split as well, and he averaged 2.2 hits + runs + RBI per home game overall. Additionally, Gasser pitched to a .278 average, .820 OPS and .358 wOBA against right-handed hitters on the road during the regular season, furthering Pages’ case for some success.
