Best NBA Sunday Props
- Pascal Siakam Over 30.5 Points + Rebounds
- Rui Hachimura Over 13.5 Points
- Austin Reaves Over 19.5 Points
Pascal Siakam (Pacers vs. Nets) Over Points + Rebounds
Siakam let us down in a favorable matchup against the Heat on Friday night, but there are several reasons to go right back to the well with the star big man on Sunday. It begins with the fact the outing against Miami was a true outlier, as Siakam went just 5-for-17 from the field after entering the game having shot 55.3% over the first five contests of the season. Siakam’s rebounds were also down to five despite Ivica Zubac’s absence.
Both Zubac (ankle) and Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring) will remain sidelined Sunday, and Siakam has a 30.2% usage rate and averages of a team-high 25.9 points along with 7.3 rebounds per 36 minutes with both teammates off the floor. Then, the Nets are allowing the seventh-highest offensive efficiency rating to power forwards (30.4), along with the fifth-most points per road contest (125.0). Brooklyn is also conceding 47.7% shooting on the road, and Siakam cashed the Over on this prop in three of the first five games before the dud against Miami.

Rui Hachimura (Clippers vs. Warriors) Over Points
Hachimura is, at least on paper, arguably the Cliippers’ first unit’s second-best scoring option behind Darius Garland. However, the floor-stretching big man, who came into the season having averaged 12.6 points per game on 49.9% shooting over the first seven seasons of his career, hasn’t come close to hitting his stride offensively. Hachimura’s trademark efficiency has taken a dive early in his Clippers tenure, as he’s drained an abysmal 28.6% of his shots overall. However, he’s actually been markedly more successful from long range with a 33.3% figure in that split, meaning he’s simply run into some very bad luck when putting the ball up in front of the arc.
A shooter as proven as Hachimura is going to bounce back sooner rather than later, and a matchup against a Warriors squad that’s improving but has still had some trouble defensively could offer an opportunity for at least a slight uptick offensively. Golden State has surrendered 47.4% shooting to power forwards, including 41.0% from long range. The Dubs are also yielding the second-highest shooting percentage overall (49.3%), and Hachimura’s current average of 12.3 field-goal attempts per game is a career high and reflective of the bigger role he’s already filling in his new digs.

Austin Reaves (Lakers vs. Raptors) Over Points
Reaves is off to an impressively efficient start as a scorer this season, averaging a career-high 23.8 points on career-best 54.8% shooting, including a career-best 42.4% from downtown. The talented two-guard has delivered at least 21 points in all but one game in the early going, and he’s averaging a robust 21.0 field-goal + free-throw attempts per contest as Luka Doncic’s literal and figurative wing man.
Reaves’ Sunday matchup comes against a Raptors team that’s been somewhat erratic over the first two weeks of the season. Toronto opened 2-0 before dropping two of its subsequent three games, giving up 117 and 121 points in that pair of defeats. The Raptors have had trouble defending two-guards in particular, allowing the 10th-highest offensive efficiency rating to the position (26.0), as well as 37.7% three-point shooting to the position.
Toronto is also facilitating a five-percent boost in opponent shooting on the road (46.8%) as compared to at home (41.4%), including a massive 9.2% increase in three-point shooting (39.7%, compared to 30.5% at home). We’re still dealing with very small samples overall this early, but the numbers and this scoring threshold both point toward the Over.
