It’s time for the Sunday afternoon Week 6 slate, so we’re going to zone in on two anytime touchdown props. This week, we’re keeping it simple with two chalky plays. The first involves a bell-cow running back in a favorable game script. The second includes an RB2 in a potential blowout, which could result in more touches. With that in mind, find out why I’m on Chuba Hubbard and Blake Corum. Be sure to check out our NFL betting trends page for data and odds on every game.

Chuba Hubbard (Panthers vs. Eagles) Touchdown Odds

Chuba Hubbard has been terrific for the Panthers this year, rushing 61 times for 306 yards, averaging 5.0 yards per carry. He’s been a touchdown machine for the Panthers, finding the end zone three times on the ground and twice through the air. With Jonathon Brooks sidelined due to injury, Hubbard has been the bell-cow in this improved offense. With Bryce Young looking like the most improved quarterback in the NFL, that’s a highly lucrative role when it comes to touchdown upside.

The Panthers are in a favorable spot on the road against the Eagles. Carolina is coming off the bye, while Philadelphia is returning from London. That kind of overseas travel can have an impact as they return home. More importantly, Jalen Hurts has been ruled out for this game, forcing Tanner McKee to be the new quarterback. That gives the Panthers a major edge, which is why the spread has moved from Panthers +1.5 to -3.5.

With the Panthers favored, that means it’s more likely that they play with a lead, resulting in more rushing volume. That puts Hubbard in a good position to score his sixth touchdown of the season.

Blake Corum (Rams vs. Cardinals) Touchdown Odds

Blake Corum has taken a backseat to Kyren WIlliams this season, rushing 38 times for 181 yards (4.8 yards per carry). Despite the limited role, Corum has been quite efficient, yet he’s only scored one touchdown so far. There’s a chance that this can change in Week 6, since it’s a smash spot at home against the Cardinals.

The Rams are 12.5-point favorites in this game, so we could see this one turn into a blowout. That could get Corum more touches in this spot. Imagine this scenario: the Rams enter the 4th quarter with a 14+ point lead. They then feed Corum to eat up the clock and put the game away.

That’s why I like riding with Corum in this spot. It could be the most favorable game script that he’ll see all year. You can still get him at nearly +130 odds, making him worth a look in this exploitable matchup.
