Week 7 is already upon us, and we have another 10-game main slate on Sunday following a Steeler-Saints opener in Paris. Injuries to key players are plentiful at this point in the season, and that will help inform one of our suggestions this week.

Best NFL Week 7 Player Props
- Jordan Addison Over 38.5 Receiving Yards
- Christian McCaffrey Over 39.5 Receiving Yards
- Jordan Love Over 23.5 Completions
Jordan Addison (Vikings vs. Colts) Over Receiving Yards
The Vikings are undefeated, at home and coming off a bye, teeing up high expectations in a favorable matchup against an inconsistent and vulnerable-at-times Colts defense. Addison has gotten off to a relatively unremarkable start to the season, but he boasts plenty of upside and has been more involved over his last two games as he builds more chemistry with Kyler Murray in their first year together.
Addison has had time to fully heal from the hamstring injury that cost him Week 5 before Minnesota’s bye, and prior to that, he’d posted a combined 9-142-1 line on 15 targets in wins over the Buccaneers and Dolphins. Addison 34 and 47 routes in those games while averaging 1.75 yards per route run, and while Justin Jefferson will naturally continue to serve as Murray’s No. 1 target, Addison should have a rock-solid No. 2 role again this week.
Indy has surrendered a robust 14.2 yards per reception to wide receivers, and he has an average depth of target of 12.5 yards while also laying claim to 31.4% of the team’s air yards. Given his downfield prowess and improved performance in his most recent pair of games, this prop is in play.

Christian McCaffrey (49ers vs. Falcons) Over Receiving Yards
McCaffrey’s pass-catching ability is in the spotlight this week, for a couple of prominent reasons. For starters, he’s coming off his best receiving game of the season yet, as he posted a 9-53-0 line on 10 targets against the Commanders. Additionally, the 49ers’ receiving corps is more of a MASH unit than ever, as Mike Evans has now joined the long list of unavailable members of the position group for Sunday’s matchup.
Evans will sit out due to Achilles tendinitis, while Deebo Samuel will miss another game because of his hamstring injury. Meanwhile, De’Zhaun Stribling and Demarcus Robinson remain on IR due to their ankle injuries, and although veteran Christian Kirk is finally ready for his team debut following an early training camp calf injury, Brock Purdy will still be working with a skeleton crew at the position.
That should tee up McCaffrey, who’s eclipsed 39.5 receiving yards on three occasions already, for plenty of work out of the backfield as a short-area option that can gain plenty after the catch. Atlanta has also allowed the fourth-most receptions to running backs (32), furthering the case.

Jordan Love (Packers vs. Lions) Over Completions
The Packers and Lions are set for what should be a classic installment of their long rivalry, and the fast track of Ford Field only serves to ratched up offensive expectations. While Detroit is favored, Green Bay still has an implied team total of 25 points, and Love has been the main driver of the offense thus far this season since the Packers’ running game has frequently fizzled without the now-reinstated Josh Jacobs.
Jacobs is on track to make his season debut Sunday, but the offense on the other sideline figures to still force Green Bay into some significant pass volume. Love has averaged 22.5 completions on 37.7 pass attempts per contest so far, reaching at least 23 completions in two of six games while finishing with 23 and 22 in another pair. The Lions check in having allowed the most completions (144) of any team that’s played just five games, along with a robust 71.0% completion rate at home.
Detroit has also facilitated an NFL-high 71.8 opponent players per game, including 73.5 per home contest. Given the expected high-scoring, competitive nature of Sunday’s division clash, I still envision a busy day through the air for Love despite the return of Jacobs, who figures to play on some sort of snap limit.
