Best Bet: YRFI (+125) at DraftKings
Score Prediction: Brewers 4, Rays 2
The Pick: Brewers 4, Rays 2
We’ll take the YRFI again, based on Milwaukee home data and the price tag offered for it to hit – as it did in Game 1.
Game Betting Analysis
The YRFI hit for us in Game 1, so we’ll consider it again for Game 2 as the Brewers have now seen the YRFI hit in a remarkable 10 straight home games for the Brew Crew when facing the AL. For plus-value also, we’ll take that – but let’s explore further. Milwaukee has now won 23 of its last 27 games overall, rarely a team you want to fade in this situation, winning eight straight inside American Family Field. They have also covered the run line in six of seven games, which would’ve been seven straight if not for a very sketchy overturned call in the 9th inning to prevent a double-play turn. The Under has also hit in six of eight meetings.

Deciding Factor: Drew Rasmussen’s Dominant Form vs. Logan Henderson’s Playoff Wobbles
Drew Rasmussen is in the middle of the best stretch of his career at the exact right time: since the All-Star break he’s 11-0 with a 1.73 ERA, 99 strikeouts against just 18 walks in 93 2/3 innings, and the Rays are a staggering 14-1 in his 15 starts over that span. He’s carried it straight into October, pitching into the seventh inning in all three of his postseason starts, shutting down the Yankees in ALDS Game 1 and beating the Guardians in ALCS Game 5, and Tampa Bay actually held him back an extra day of rest rather than throw him in Game 1. That’s the kind of form that can erase an offense’s other problems — even one that went 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position in Game 1 — simply by keeping the Brewers off the board long enough for Tampa Bay’s lineup to find its footing.
Logan Henderson, meanwhile, is walking into a spot he’s never faced before carrying real recent scar tissue. His 11-3, 2.47 ERA regular season and Milwaukee’s 16-3 record in his starts speak to a genuinely excellent rookie year, but his most recent outing was NLCS Game 2 against the Dodgers, where he allowed four runs (two earned) — the first time in his 25-start career he’s given up more than three — while also uncorking a wild pitch and two errant pickoff throws that read as nerves getting the better of him in a big moment. He says his recent experience should help him manage “the higher adrenaline” of a World Series start, but a rookie who just melted down once under playoff lights facing an opponent on a 14-1 run behind his counterpart is a real mismatch on paper. If Henderson settles in early and limits the damage, Milwaukee can lean on its deeper lineup and take a commanding 2-0 series lead — but if he repeats last start’s control issues, Rasmussen’s current form gives Tampa Bay a real path to evening this series up.
