2026 French Open Sleepers: Top Players, Odds, Predictions & Best Bets

As the 2026 French Open approaches, the futures market is a popular choice for many tennis bettors getting ready for Roland Garros. We already went over the top contenders for the second major of the year, as we will discuss sleeper picks in the article below.

While there aren’t many on the men’s side due to Jannik Sinner’s dominance, we will still go over some players showing great form entering Roland Garros. Let’s dive into the top sleeper picks to watch for when considering French Open futures tickets for Sunday, May 24.

2026 French Open Men’s Sleepers

While Sinner is expected to win the event by a large margin, we only have a handful of men’s sleepers to consider for the French Open.

Casper Ruud (+3000)

2026 Betting Stats

  • Outright: 17-10
  • ATS: 13-12-1
  • Total:

Casper Ruud is really the only pick to consider for the men’s draw if looking outside Sinner. He has reached the Roland Garros finals twice and is currently in the best form he’s been in for a year. He shines when clay season commences, and his ceiling is best in the world. Our only concern is stamina, as he is set to play a tournament this week. Unless he reaches the semifinals, his stamina isn’t alarming but his current form and history in Paris is worth a look as the top name that’s not Sinner.

Rafael Jodar (+2500)

2026 Betting Stats

  • Outright: 20-9
  • ATS: 18-10
  • Total: 12-16

While Rafael Jodar is likely to be a popular pick for those looking at sleepers, the odds of him actually lifting major hardware should be much longer. His burst on the clay court scene this season is why his odds are very short at 25/1, so despite his form and current odds fitting the ‘sleeper’ criteria he is still a puppy and deserves much longer odds to win a major event. His single match betting is considerable as a favorite, covering 13 of 19 matches in that spot, but to lift the Roland Garros hardware we would want odds closer to +8000.

Arthur Fils (+1400)

2026 Betting Stats

  • Outright: 22-7
  • ATS: 15-10-2
  • Total: 9-17-1

Arthur Fils is an interesting player to wager on, as his value isn’t tremendous and his current injury concerns are something to trend carefully with. However, he is the second-best option behind Ruud to challenge Sinner for the French Open throne… if healthy. While Fils claims his tests are positive following his latest tournament injury, its still concerning with a best-of-five set event. His +1400 odds aren’t too intriguing either, but overall Fils still presents one of the best tickets on the men’s side despite bad value and an injury flag.

2026 French Open Women’s Sleepers

There are a good amount of sleepers to consider winning the women’s French open this year, all listed below.

Karolina Muchova (+2500)

2026 Betting Stats

  • Outright: 22-6
  • ATS: 16-8-3
  • Total: 13-12-2

Perhaps the best sleeper on the women’s side is Karo Muchova, quietly dominating the 2026 season along with a very impressive 11-4-2 ATS mark as a favorite. She is also 17-1 outright in the 18 matches in which she was a favorite this season. Muchova is having one of the best seasons in her career and has seen success in Paris during the 2023 tournament with a finals appearance. Given the odds, current season and history in Paris there’s no reason not to have a ticket on Muchova.

Jessica Pegula (+5000)

2026 Betting Stats

  • Outright: 28-6
  • ATS: 18-14-1
  • Total: 13-19-1

This is an easy sleeper pick, and the odds make it even easier as Pegula is one of the most consistent players on either tour. Although it was green clay, she already has a clay court trophy with Charleston’s win – an event she actually played from behind every match in. Much like Muchova above, Pegula’s consistency comes from winning matches she’s supposed to with an impressive 27-2 outright record as a favorite in 2026. Getting both Muchova and Pegula at these odds, for their level of consistency, is very much a risk worth taking.

Marta Kostyuk (+1800)

2026 Betting Stats

  • Outright: 17-4
  • ATS: 15-4-2
  • Total: 7-14

While it’s easy to overlook Marta Kostyuk to win Roland Garros, it’s not wise. It’s not an accident she won back-to-back clay court tournaments, one being a 1000 level event. Look at the stats above, that’s impressive. Not only is she winning matches, she’s covering spreads with a 12-1 outright record and a 9-2-2 ATS record as the favorite. Based on her stats and back-to-back tournament victories, her +1800 odds should actually be shorter. While we won’t take the bait quite yet, grabbing Kostyuk at +1800 is a steal should her 2026 form (particularly on clay) continue into Roland Garros.

Elina Svitolina (+3000)

2026 Betting Stats

  • Outright: 28-7
  • ATS: 19-13-1
  • Total: 15-16-2

Elina Svitolina presents another suitable sleeper to consider for winning the women’s French Open title, coming off an overly impressive run in Roma where she took out Elena Rybakina, Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff. Whoa. While that is wildly impressive, it’s hard to see Svit do it again. Can she run it back? The week off helps but to copy-and-paste another impressive run over top players is hard to envision. With that said, it can be done, as Svitolina is 21-4 outright as the favorite. What really separates Svit from the women above, however, is her record as an underdog – and impressive 7-3 overall. Thriving in either role, she has the recent results and stats to seriously consider winning Roland Garros.
