$10,000 Grand Price up for grabs in Draft King’s King of the Baseline
Draft Kings hit an ace with their DFS tennis promotion King of the Baseline. One hundred qualifiers earn a chance at the guaranteed $50,000 total prize pool. King of the Baseline is a three-round survivor series where every one of the 100 entrants will win cash. Here’s the court rules for how to qualify, the scoring outline and the prizes served up in Draft King’s King of the Baseline fantasy tennis survivor series.
How to Qualify
DFS tennis enthusiasts can participate in a series of qualifying rounds to earn as many as three spots in the survivor series. You can enter a qualifier for as little as one dollar. The higher the entry fee for the qualifier, the bigger the secondary cash prize pool is for that specific qualifier. Each King of the Baseline qualifying round has a top prize of an entry into the finals.
King of the Baseline Scoring
The Draft Kings single match tennis scoring system is used in all qualifying rounds and the three survivor rounds. Entries must always take into account the 30-points awarded for every match played regardless of the final result.
Games won also add up at a rate of 2-points per win. Matches won, aces and break points generate smaller awards, with reductions for things like double faults. You should scan the tournament draw when constructing a DFS tennis lineup card.
Draft Kings attaches bonus points for things such as clean sets and straight set sweeps. The scoring system is dependent on whether the match is part of a best of three or best of five tournament.
Prizes for Draft King’s King of the Baseline
Beyond the prize pools for each of the qualifying rounds, the finals have a prize pool that includes all 100 spots. The winner earns a $10,000 payday, while the second and third place spots split another 10 grand, $6,000 to the number two spot and the other $4,000 to third. The remaining places earn cash awards, including $200 for the final 50 spots.
With $50,000 worth of prizes being served up, every entry in the survivor rounds will win cash. If you can put together a strong roster of players, you may be able to ace the competition and take home the $10,000 top award.
