Play Your Way to Bermuda in FanDuel’s Goslings PGA Contests
FanDuel is offering daily fantasy players a chance to win a firsthand taste of the spectacular island resort. All summer long, you can participate in FanDuel’s PGA Golf contests sponsored by Goslings Rum. Here’s everything you need to know to pull out your fantasy driver, line up your shot, and smack a hole-in-one.
How to Play
Each of the four legs towards the Goslings’ FanDuel championship is free. To enter the contest all you have to do is select six golfers from that particular major tournament. You can employ whatever daily fantasy golf strategy that has proven successful for you.
From the field of golfers for that major, you will pick six total. Sure, it would be nice to grab the golfers with the six highest odds of winning. But, the only limitation you have is the salary cap. The total salary cap is $60,000.
The higher-ranked golfers will have a salary over $10,000, so you’ll need to venture down the list and find one or more sleepers. If you can pinpoint the best top-ranked golfers and blend them with a pair of strong underdogs to enter a lineup under the salary cap, you may be in line for a big cash payday.
FanDuel Goslings Prizes
One big difference between FanDuel’s Goslings golf contests is that each individual contest has a separate prize pool. The collective point total from all four PGA majors will determine the grand prize winner.
However, each individual PGA major golf tournament will have its own contest. The contest pool is capped at 500,000 total entries. The prize pool is nicely divided to pay lineup cards that finish in the top 10,000. Roughly 7,000 scores will win a quarter.
This may not seem like much, but you can parlay that into a 25¢ FanDuel contest with another opportunity to win cash. The top five point totals from each major win no less than $100 cash. Top prize for each event is at least $500.
There will also be prizes awarded after the final major for the highest 4,600 cumulative totals. The ultimate prize is a trip for you and a guest to Bermuda. The second place total from all four majors will get a $500 cash bonus. You can track your progress all summer long on the FanDuel Goslings leaderboard.
You don’t need to enter every single PGA major to have fun with FanDuel’s Goslings golf contests. Sure, it would be nice to track your way to a trip to Bermuda, but there are a bunch of free opportunities to win cash in each of the other main PGA events. One thing that is for certain, if you don’t line up your tee-shot, you can’t hit that hole-in-one.
