PGA Tour Golf Odds, Picks, Predictions: Final 2026 Valero Texas Open Betting Card, OAD

The 2026 PGA Tour golf season continues, with TPC San Antonio next on tap to host the Valero Texas Open. Ludvig Aberg, Tommy Fleetwood, and Russell Henley headline the field among Valero Texas Open bets this week. John Haslbauer provides his favorite picks among all the golf odds for this tourney. Below, you’ll find each player’s best odds across betting sites.

One last week of separation stands between us and the 2026 Masters. As a golf palette cleanser, we have the 2026 Valero Texas Open. It will host a revamped field that features more OWGR top-20 players than we’ve seen in recent years at TPC San Antonio.

A continued trend in this leg of the PGA Tour season, TPC San Antonio should pose yet another test of all-around form. With its many oaks surrounding the fairway, the Oaks Course rewards control off the tee more than distance. That’s a surprising trend, considering TPC San Antonio ranks in the top 10 in total yardage on TOUR. It also presents an angle from which to find value from a betting and DFS perspective. Below, we’ll go through my final Valero Texas Open bets. Click the odds anywhere in this article to place Valero Texas Open wagers.

How I Built My Valero Texas Open Betting Card

Avoiding trouble is the name of the game at TPC San Antonio. Those who can take advantage of par-5 scoring, avoid trouble off the tee, and generally excel at Bogey Avoidance fit the mold of the player profile I’m looking to hone in on.

Severe winds are in the forecast this week. That is not uncommon at this event, but it has reached a level of concern for Masters hopefuls like Collin Morikawa, Daniel Berger, and Nicolai Hojgaard to withdraw early and make their way over to Augusta. As such, I focused my betting card on players who are best equipped to navigate difficult, windy conditions.

From a unit allocation standpoint, it’s back to business as usual for my weekly stake at the 2026 Valero Texas Open.

  • Outrights — 3.9U in to pay 25U each
  • FRL — 0.5U in to pay out 10U+ each
  • Full tournament matchups — 1U in to pay out 2U
  • Props — 1.0U in to pay out 3U+ each

Valero Texas Open Bets: Outrights (3.5 Units)

Tommy Fleetwood

My Bet: +1600

Best Available Odds:

Relatively speaking, 16/1 odds for the consensus tournament favorite feels like a pretty compelling proposition. Fleetwood now has a PGA TOUR victory under his belt after winning the 2025 TOUR Championship, but I suspect he needs to continue stacking victories before he’s ready to conquer a Major championship.

He’ll have a great opportunity to add to his win tally at TPC San Antonio this week, especially with higher winds expected. With more difficult conditions in store, I expect we’ll see a single-digit-under-par winner like last year. Fleetwood ranks No. 1 in my model this week, with top ranks in SG: TOT, SG: T2G, and Bogey Avoidance. He’ll look to build on his current run of three top-10s over his last four starts.

Robert MacIntyre

My Bet: +2000

Best Available Odds:

The featured spotlight player in this week’s tournament preview, my conviction in MacIntyre has only grown since the weather forecast has taken a turn for the worse. Flighting the ball in gusting winds is a distinct skillset, and MacIntyre’s career-long prowess in links conditions makes him one of the most formiddable players in this field when winds are up.

MacIntyre is in the best form of his career at the moment with a win and six top-12 finishes over his last 10 starts. The No. 1 player in the field in terms of SG: Putting this 2026 season, MacIntyre carries a very high floor with him to the 2026 Valero Texas Open.

Sepp Straka

My Bet: +2800

Best Available Odds:

Accuracy prevails above all else at TPC San Antonio, as recent winners Brian Harman, Akshay Bhatia, and Corey Conners might suggest. Straka has been a model of consistency with his ball-striking lately, ranking top-25 in terms of SG: Ball Striking, SG: APP, and Good Drive Percentage.

He’s also proven to be a strong profile fit for the task at hand in San Antonio, ranking No. 1 in Par 5 Scoring and No. 7 in SG: TOT (Windy Conditions). Straka withstood high winds to win the 2022 Honda Classic and will come to TPC San Antonio in great form this year with four top-20s over his last five starts.

Emiliano Grillo

My Bet: +20000

Best Available Odds:

Wind often bares volatility, opening the door for wave split advantages or other random events that come from inconsistent playing conditions. As such, these often prove to be good weeks to diversify the portfolio and take a chance on some longshots.

Grillo is a proven winner in the state of Texas, navigating similar conditions to win the 2023 Charles Schwab Challenge. He is just one start removed from an encouraging T7 showing at the Valspar Championship, and looked great at this event last year, finishing T18.

Brandt Snedeker

My Bet: +40000

Best Available Odds:

Will we see back-to-back wins from Team USA Ryder Cup assistant captains this week? Snedeker continues to chase his first win since 2018, but came very close at the Valspar Championship, where he played himself into the final Sunday pairing.

The pathway for Snedeker to win a PGA TOUR event in 2026 is by way of a scrambling contest. With sustained winds up to 30 MPH in the forecast, that may be exactly what we get in San Antonio this week. Snedeker is no stranger to surviving wind storms either; he won the severely weather-impacted Farmers Insurance Open at 6-under-par back in 2016.

Pontus Nyholm

My Bet: +50000

Best Available Odds:

Will we see Pontus pilot himself to victory this Easter Sunday? The European came back to life with a T14 finish at the Houston Open last week after missing the cut on the number at the Valspar Championship.

That makes three top-20 finishes over his last four starts now, as the PGA TOUR rookie looks to be getting increasingly more comfortable competing stateside. Nyholm profiles as a bomber with solid approach form over the last month.

Valero Texas Open Bets: First-Round Leader (0.5 Units)

Nick Taylor

My Bet: +5000

Best Available Odds:

The former AT&T Pebble Beach champion is no stranger to going low in windy conditions where accuracy is rewarded. Taylor has flown under the radar with an above-average season thus far, which includes five top-30s over his first eight starts.

Chris Kirk

My Bet: +5500

Best Available Odds:

One of the most consistent players at TPC San Antonio in the field, Kirk has five top-15 finishes here since 2015. He’s in control of his driver at the moment, and has shown spike approach upside recently, ranking top-15 in SG: Approach at The Players.

Bud Cauley

My Bet: +7500

Best Available Odds:

Cauley has also demonstrated great course history at TPC San Antonio with a pair of top-10 finishes over his last four trips here. He’s started to come into form with two top-30s over his last three starts, and has played his best on positional courses that reward accuracy.

Emiliano Grillo

My Bet: +9000

Best Available Odds:

Grillo’s birdie-making ability will always go as far as his putter can take him. He’s gained on the greens in three of his last six starts, so I’m optimistic he can make the most of his opportunities at TPC San Antonio, where he finished T18 last year.

Tom Hoge

My Bet: +9000

Best Available Odds:

This will have a bit of a homecoming feel for the  TCU alum. Hoge has finished T5 and T12 in his last two appearances at this event and flashed in windy conditions with a T14 finish at Pebble Beach earlier this season.

Valero Texas Open Prop Bets (2.0 Units)

Full Tournament Matchup: Sepp Straka over Michael Thorbjornsen

My Bet: -110 (Fanduel Sportsbook)

The floor is very high for Sepp Straka, who comes to this week with four top-20s over his last five starts. His history at the Valero Texas Open has been solid as well, finishing T22 in his most recent appearance last year.

By contrast, Thorbjornsen is exactly the profile of player I’m looking to avoid at TPC San Antonio. The bomber has proven to have an erratic miss off the tee at times, which can quickly derail a round at the heavily tree-lined Oaks course. I believe Thorbjornsen would prefer to skip this event, having missed the cut here last year, but needs to win in order to gain entry into The Masters field.

Top-20 Finish: Emiliano Grillo

My Bet: +700

Best Available Odds:

Grillo was a top-20 finisher at this event last year and has shown some encouraging signs of a return to form since. He finished T7 at the Valspar Championship and has played his best golf historically on windy, positional courses.

Top-20 Finish: Brandt Snedeker

My Bet: +1000

Best Available Odds:

I am expecting the 2026 Valero Texas Open to be a grind, and if it does become a scrambling contest, Snedeker is assuredly a top-20 player in this field in terms of short game. He’s feeling confident with his putter now and displayed flashes of great ball-striking form most recently at the Valspar Championship.

Top-20 Finish: Pontus Nyholm

My Bet: +1000

Best Available Odds:

Nyholm has been living inside the top 20 of late with three such finishes over his last four starts. You simply don’t get to see odds this long too often on a player as hot as he is now.

One And Done

My Pick: Tommy Fleetwood

In every important combination stat category I ran in my model this week, Fleetwood’s name continued to pop. He is the No. 1 overal player in my model, and I believe he’s fully motivated to collect another PGA TOUR win to build confidence leading into The Masters. As the consensus favorite this week, there are other spots the rest of the season in which Fleetwood’s win equity will be this high.

If not Fleetwood, I would also consider playing Robert MacIntyre, Daniel Berger, or Sepp Straka in OAD.
