Best NFL Week 9 Player Props
- Ryan Flournoy Over 35.5 Receiving Yards
- Harold Fannin Jr. Over 40.5 Receiving Yards
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba Over 89.5 Receiving Yards
Ryan Flournoy (Cowboys vs. Colts) Over Receiving Yards
Flournoy is in the midst of a breakout season, already having amassed a 30-342-2 line on 44 targets across eight games. Flournoy is on a nice run over the last four games in particular, posting 17 receptions for 238 yards and two touchdowns on 21 targets in that span while running a robust 130 routes and averaging 1.83 yards per route run. Flournoy could be in line for an even bigger role than usual in Sunday’s interconference clash, too, considering George Pickens may be trending toward an absence due to a hamstring injury.
Pickens has been averaging 7.8 targets per game, so he’ll leave plenty of opportunity behind if he does sit out. Flournoy has gone 5-0 to the Over on the 35.5 over his last five contests, so this number is in play even if he’s ultimately just in the No. 3 role. The Colts make for solid targets as well, considering they’re allowing 13.9 yards per reception to wide receivers, while the Cowboys’ 28.25-point implied total also supports the notion of plenty of offensive production for the team’s skill-position assets.
Original Line Publish: 35.5
Harold Fannin Jr. (Browns vs. Saints) Over Receiving Yards
Fannin is in the midst of another fine season, as his chemistry with Deshaun Watson has been increasingly impressive. However, for this matchup, Fannin will work with another signal-caller he’s familiar with in Shedeur Sanders, who Fannin had a chance to work with last season when both were members of the Browns’ 2025 draft class. Fannin enters Sunday’s clash with the Saints on a high note as well, having produced a 16-245-0 line in the last two games while drawing a target on 30.0% of his routes and averaging 3.5 yards per route run.
Fannin averaged 5.2 catches for 60.0 receiving yards per contest in the nine games that he played with Sanders as his quarterback last season, so there’s definitely a track record to rely on there. The Saints make for solid candidates to help facilitate another strong showing for Fannin, considering New Orleans has surrendered a 44-474-4 receiving line to tight ends, along with an eleved 10.7 yards per completion overall.
Finally, it’s worth noting three of the four times Fannin has eclipsed this prop this season has come on the road, and the Superdome provides a fast track
Original Line Publish: 40.5
Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Seahawks vs. Cardinals) Over Receiving Yards
The Seahawks are scuffling along in their title-defense season, entering Week 9 with a 4-4 record and now dealing with another Sam Darnold absence due to a quadriceps injury he suffered in the Week 8 loss to the Bears. However Smith-Njigba may be on his way to putting together an even better season than last year’s OPOY campaign, already having recorded seven 100-yard games across eight contests on his way to a 64-985-9 line over 89 targets.
JSN will be working with Drew Lock as his quarterback Sunday, but that isn’t necessarily a downgrade by any stretch. Smith-Njigba posted a 17-277-4 line on 22 targets while working primarily with Lock over the first two games of the season, and he’s 7-1 to the Over on this prop this season. The Cardinals conceded a 9-155-3 line to JSN while working with Lock back in Week 2 and Arizona is now surrendering 15.5 yards per reception to wide receivers.
