The New Orleans Saints are still deciding whether rookie wide receiver Jordyn Tyson, running back Travis Etienne, and left tackle Kelvin Banks will return to practice this week, NBC Sports reported Nov. 2.

Head coach Kellen Moore said the team is working through whether to open Tyson’s return window from injured reserve, with similar decisions pending for Etienne and Banks.

Tyson awaits his first Saints game

Tyson has been sidelined since injuring his hamstring during the summer and has yet to appear in a game for New Orleans.

If the Saints designate him for return and he practices Wednesday, he would have a 21-day window to work with the team before needing to be activated. New Orleans could activate him at any point during that period. A return to practice would not, by itself, establish his game availability.

Etienne and Banks also await return decisions

Etienne has been out since Week 3 with a hamstring injury. Banks sprained his ankle in Week 2.

The three players represent potential additions at receiver, running back, and left tackle for a Saints offense trying to improve on a 2-5 start.
