Let’s dive into three player props that catch our eye for Wednesday’s jumbo-sized ledger. Be sure to check out the NBA betting trends page for odds, data and insights on every game.
Best NBA Wednesday Props
- Julius Randle Over 25.5 Points + Rebounds
- Zion Williamson Over 25.5 Points + Rebounds
- Walker Kessler Over 22.5 Points + Rebounds
Julius Randle (Nets vs. Hornets) Over Points + Rebounds
Randle has been a seamless fit in Brooklyn since Opening Night, delivering 48 points + rebounds + assists over 38 minutes against the same Hornets squad he’ll face Wednesday right out of the gate on Opening Night. The veteran big man is averaging 20.9 points, 7.7 rebounds and 4.9 assists per contest while shooting an aytpically poor 41.5%, meaning there’s actually still plenty room for a boost in his offensive numbers.
Randle now gets another crack at Charlotte on Wednesday, and although the Hornets have some solid defensive metrics in certain categories, their work against power forwards speaks to plenty of vulnerability. The Hornets have allowed an Eastern Conference-high 31.8 offensive efficiency rating to fours, along with 49.0% shooting, including 40.8% from three-point range, to the position.
Charlotte is also surrendering the fifth-most rebounds per game to PFs (11.5), and Randle has come just a single point or rebound short of going 5-2 to the Over on this prop thus far this season.
Original Line Publish: 25.5
Zion Williamson (Pelicans vs. Jazz) Over Points + Rebounds
Williamson is the second of our three bigs who we like the outlook for Wednesday, and the 2019 first overall pick is off to a hot start in his own right with averages of 26.6 points + rebounds across 32.1 minutes per game. As customary, Zion is doing the overwhelming majority of his damage from in front of the arc, draining 63.6% of his shots on 12.6 field-goal attempts per game, with only 1.0 per contest coming from behind the arc.
Zion has averaged 28.5 points + rebounds per contest against Utah over 15 games in his career, including a 28 points + rebounds tally versus the Jazz in the second game of the season this year. Then, the Jazz are allowing the eighth-most points per game to power forwards (26.6), and Utah is also facilitating the fourth-most free-throw attempts per contest to fours (7.9).
Like Randle, Zion is just a point or rebound short of having cashed the Over in five of seven games so far in the new campaign, and New Orleans’ 120.5-point implied team total also adds appeal to the Over.
Original Line Publish: 25.5
Walker Kessler (Lakers at Kings) Over Points + Rebounds
Kessler, like Randle, is a new frontcourt piece to his team that’s paid instant dividends. The 2022 first-round pick only played five games during his final season in Utah in 2025-26, but now that he’s back to full health, Kessler has been the force the Lakers were hoping for when they let the defensively challenged Deandre Ayton walk this offseason. Kessler is delivering a well-rounded 14.4 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 2.5 blocks and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 71.4%, his highest figure since his rookie season.
Kessler has a premium position matchup on tap Wednesday as well, considering the Kings have hands-down been among the worst teams against centers in almost every conceivable metric. Sacramento is allowing an NBA-high offensive efficiency rating to centers (37.4), along with NBA-high 67.8% shooting to the position. The Kings are also yielding an NBA-high 27.9 points per contest to fives and an NBA-high 56.6 points in the paint per contest, while Kessler is scoring a career-high 87.0% of his points in that part of the floor.
