How to Qualify
The DraftKings FBWC qualifying period begins in late April and runs through August 12. During this portion of the Major League Baseball schedule, 100 seats for the DraftKings FBWC finals will be determined.
To earn one or more of these prize seats, all you need to do is win one of these numerous qualifying contests. Each contest uses DraftKing’s standard MLB fantasy baseball scoring system. Pick a lineup and let the players do the rest.
You can earn up to five FBWC tickets. If you happen to win more than one qualifier over the next few months, each ticket has a cash value. These tickets to the live final are also transferable. However, before you can win a seat, you have to step up to the plate and hit one out of the park.
Each qualifying round will have a prize ladder. At the top of the prize list is a ticket to the DraftKings FBWC final. Some qualifiers have additional cash awards as well. However, the winning prize is the pitch you want to hit out of the park.
As one of the 100 qualifiers, you’ll receive an all-expense paid VIP trip to Chicago, Illinois. If you win multiple seats, you can transfer those tickets to another player. That individual will receive the same accommodations and perks as if they won a qualifier.
All contestants earning a trip to the finals can bring one guest as well. At the finals, there will over $4 million in the prize pool. The winner gets a check for $500,000. The runner-up and third-place scores earn $350,000 and $250,000 respectfully.
Every qualifier for the FBWC live final will walk away with cash. The final 25 finishers will get a check for $15,000, so no one walks away with empty pockets. Part of the VIP package, are receive tickets to exclusive events, and discounts to prime attractions in downtown Chicago.
At the end of the final qualifier on August 12, the 100 finalists for the live final in Chicago, Illinois will be set. Until the final out is recorded on the 12th of August, you should be in there taking your swings at a chance for the biggest DFS baseball prize of the summer. Tighten up your fantasy baseball cleats and dig into the batter’s box. Keep your eye on the prize and take a swing for the fences.
