The 2026 PGA Tour golf season continues, with Port Royal Golf Club next on tap to host the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, beginning this Thursday. Ben James, Chris Kirk, and Andrew Novak headline among Butterfield Bermuda Championship bets this week, as John Haslbauer provides his favorite picks among all the golf odds for this tourney. Below, you’ll find the best odds across betting sites for each player.

The Passport Swing continues on in the Fall, as PGA Tour action is back for yet another international contest. Port Royal GC is next to host in Southampton, Bermuda for the 2026 Butterfield Bermuda Championship.

It has been a tournament full of volatility since joining the PGA Tour in 2019. Four of the first seven winners have featured pre-tournament odds beyond 100-1, a credit to the severe influence of coastal weather in Bermuda. Scrambling around Bermuda grass, navigating the wind, and experience playing in these conditions are all sought-after skillsets this week, and ones that can be found amongst longshots further down the board.

Below, we’ll go through my final Butterfield Bermuda Championship bets. Click the odds anywhere in this article to place Butterfield Bermuda Championship wagers. For a full breakdown of the tournament and course, visit my Butterfield Bermuda Championship preview.

How I Built My Butterfield Bermuda Championship Betting

This event has been very kind to longshots in its short history, with Adam Schenk, Rafael Campos, Camilo Villegas, and Brian Gay coming from nowhere to pick up their respective wins over the last six years. Port Royal’s position in the heart of the Atlantic Ocean leaves this course heavily exposed to coastal winds, creating volatility, and rewarding a unique style of play against these constant winds. Bombers and plodders have each found success here, so I’m instead looking towards veterans with proven experience on Bermuda greens and comparable windy course setups when building out my betting card this week.

From a unit allocation standpoint, it’s back to business as usual for my weekly stake at the 2026 Butterfield Bermuda Championship.

  • Outrights – 3.5U in to pay 25U each
  • FRL – 0.5U in to pay out 10U+ each
  • Full Tournament Matchups – 1U in to pay out 2U
  • Props – 1.5U in to pay out 3U+ each

Butterfield Bermuda Championship Bets: Outrights (3.5 Units)

Andrew Novak

My Bet: +2800

We’ve seen great ball strikers turnaround their seasons with the flip of their putter most recently with Michael Brennan. Andrew Novak is showing signs that he too is on the precipice of breaking through with a red-hot restart in the Fall. Novak has finished T7 and  T17 in his last two starts; he’s tee-to-green game remains in mid-season form, but it’s a hot putter that’s made all the difference.

Past winners like Seamus Power and Brian Gay have raved about how much they love the familiar Bermuda grass throughout Port Royal GC. Novak has significant splits on Bermuda, and will be pleased to see the Tour head back to the surface on which he picked up his first career PGA Tour win alongside Ben Griffin. He’ll also be pleased to return to this event, as the last time he was here in 2024, he was a runner-up finisher.

Chris Kirk

My Bet: +2900

Similar to Novak’s profile, there are no holes in Kirk’s game from tee-to-green, and he’s finally shown some signs of life with the putter of late too. Kirk ranks 3rd in the field in SG: APP, and has been dialed in to start the Fall, with finished of T10 and T21 in his first two starts. He was a neutral putter in his most recent start in Utah, which is an encouraging sign, relatively speaking, for him.

Kirk is set to make his Bermuda CHampionship debut this week, but he has thrived on comp coastal and windy courses throughout his career, picking up his two most recent wins at PGA National and The Plantation Course At Kapalua. In a field that lacks a formidable, proven winner, I feel confident in Kirk’s veteran experience and proven ability to handle unpredictable conditions on the coast.

Rico Hoey

My Bet: +3300

A native Puerto Rican, Rico Hoey is no stranger to coastal winds in this part of the country. Hoey was actually the betting favorite at this event last year, and performed passably with a T22 finish. That marked his second top-25 finish in two years, finishing T17 in his 2024 debut at this event.

The floor could not be higher for Hoey leading into this week. He’s one of just four players in this field to rank top-12 in terms of both Course History and Recent Form over the last five events. Hoey has a pair of top-15s over that stretch, including a T10 in his most recent start at the Bank of Utah Championship.

Though Port Royal is one of the shortest courses on Tour, it’s gusting winds and lack of penal rough still make it susceptible to bombers like Hoey, who will be able to take advantage of having lesser clubs into these elevated greens. Hoey ranks 2nd overall in my model this week, a credit to his top-10 ranks in SG: T2G, SG: Ball Striking, and SG: TOT (High Winds) over the last 36 rounds. His putter will be the difference-maker, but having gained on the greens in three of his last four starts, there’s plenty to feel optimistic about when it comes to Hoey in Bermuda.

John Parry

My Bet: +5800

Parry’s path to his 2026 PGA Tour rookie season has been anything but conventional. The soon-to-be-40-year-old was Rory McIlroy’s teammate on the 2007 Walker Cup team has had quite the career journey overseas, but has saved his best golf for the last year. Parry won the 2025 AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open in comparable coastal island conditions, and has elevated his baseline in windy conditions throughout his long career. Parry’s two best finishes of 2026 – a T8 at the Puerto Rico Open and T11 at the U.S. Open – both came on heavily wind-exposed tracks.

Leading into this week, Parry’s form has looked very encouraging. He’s played the Fall Swing with urgency, with two top-25 finishes over his first three starts. He’s been solid across the board this season, ranking top-40 in terms of SG: T2G, SG: Ball Striking, SG: APP, and SG: ARG over the last 36 rounds. While he’s set to make his debut in Bermuda this week, his experience in the wind should give him a distinct edge over one of the weakest fields of the PGA Tour season.

Austin Eckroat

My Bet: +6600

The Oklahoma State alum has previously credited his success in windy conditions to his upbringing on the Oklahoma plains. The 27-year-old has already picked up two PGA Tour wins, each coming on comparable windy and coastal setups at the Cognizant Classic and World Wide Technology Championship in 2024. Eckroat’s game is heating up at the right time now too, with just one missed cut and four top-25 finishes over his last 14 starts. That includes a T24 in his most recent start at the Biltmore Championship, where he ranked 5th in SG: APP.

Eckroat’s history at Port Royal GC is a mixed bag, but that’s not unexpected on a volatile setup like this, which is heavily impacted by the wind. A T22 in his 2021 debut demonstrates an encouraging peek at his potential here, though, and he’ll enter this week riding far better form than ever before. Averaging nearly a full stroke gained per round putting on Bermuda greens, this is a great course set up for Eckroat to continue riding his hot form.

Kevin Streelman

My Bet: +9500

Experience matters at Port Royal, and that doesn’t have to just mean experience on these grounds. Brian Gay, Camilo Villegas, and Rafael Campos have each picked up wins in the twilight of their careers at this event over the last six years. Playing in the wind is an art learned over time, and something veterans tend to be better-equipped to handle. That has been true in Streelman’s case, who ranks top-10 in the field in scoring in high winds over the last two seasons.

There’s plenty of reason to feel encouraged about Streelman’s trajectory this week too. He’s coming off an impressive T5 finish in his most recent start at the Bank of Utah Championship, where he was positive across all four strokes gained categories. Streelman is not going to out-ball-strike this field, but if winds are as heavy as they’re forecast, his experience and short game prowess may be enough to earn him his first PGA Tour win in over 10 years.

Paul Peterson

My Bet: +15500

Approach Fit is a brand new stat I’ve started to obsess over this week. It extrapolates SG: APP into the ranges each player is most likely to play from as a function of their driving distance and the course setup. Port Royal is a perfect course setup for Peterson in that regard, as he ranks 5th in the field in Approach Fit, and top-10 across the approach buckets where 83% of his approaches are projected to come from at Port Royal.

Beyond the approach prowess, Peterson also ranks elite in Driving Accuracy (4th) and SG: ARG (7th). That means he should have ample looks from the fairway in his go-zone, but can reliably scramble too when high winds blow him off-target. A T24 at the Corales Puntacana Championship supports that his game translates well on coastal windy setups, and Port Royal’s short yardage should cater even better to his skill set this week.

Butterfield Bermuda Championship Bets: First Round Leader (0.5 Units)

Rico Hoey

My Bet: +5200

Always a threat to go low, especially in the earlier rounds of the tournament, Hoey is a great value at this price, considering he is a top-5 favorite in this field. Distance is advantageous at Port Royal GC, and he should have ample scoring clubs into these greens on Thursday, before nastier conditions kick in the rest of the week. Hoey is a proven fit for Port Royal GC, and will look to build on a pair of top-25 finishes in his first two visits here.

Trace Crowe

My Bet: +5500

Approach play matters on every PGA Tour course, and I believe his approach form will be especially advantageous on Thursday before severe winds transform this event into a scrambling contest. Crowe led the field in SG: APP at the Bank of Utah Championship in his latest start, gaining over 10 strokes with his irons en route to a T3 finish. Profiling as a bomber with hot irons, that’s a combination that should lead to plenty of birdie looks at Port Royal GC.

Austin Eckroat

My Bet: +5500

Eckroat is a proven commodity in the wind, and is no stranger to jumping out to a hot start early. The two-time PGA Tour winner has held a share of the first round lead twice this season, and will get an advantageous early tee time on Thursday.

Emiliano Grillo

My Bet: +7000

One of the true coastal elites on the PGA Tour, Grillo routinely plays his best when you add wind. I have some questions around how his putter will hold up over the weekend, but there’s no question he has spike scoring upside. Grillo is top-15 in R1 Scoring and suits the course profile well at Port Royal GC.

Chan Kim

My Bet: +8200

Kim also ranks inside the top-15 in Round 1 Scoring; it’s the later rounds that have been his undoing this season. That creates some great value at this price, and like Eckroat, he’ll take advantage of a favorable morning tee time. His ball striking form is strong enough alone to post a number early here.

Butterfield Bermuda Championship Bets: Props (2.5 Units)

Full Tournament Matchup: Rico Hoey > Neal Shipley

My Bet: -125

I am very bullish on Hoey this week, and conversely, selling on the course fit for Shipley at Port Royal GC. That makes for an easy decision in this matchup. Shipley enters as one of the hottest players in the Fall with top-10 finishes in his first two starts. Port Royal is a distinctly different test however, and removes his driving advantage, instead accentuating the weaknesses in his short game.

Hoey is the proven commodity here; he was the betting favorite this time last year, and has finished top-25 in each of his first two appearances at Bermuda. Fresh off a T10 in his latest start in Utah, his form is just as strong as Shipley’s, while holding a significant course history edge.

Top-20 Finish: Emiliano Grillo

My Bet: +300

To last man off my outright card is often a kiss of death, but it’s really just the stability of his putter that gives me worry about Grillo winning this tournament. From a tee-to-green form and course fit standpoint, there’s plenty to like about the Argentenian’s fit at Port Royal. And with few other proven commodities in this field, his talent and experience alone should give him top-20 expectations from the start.

Top-20 Finish: Kevin Streelman

My Bet: +300

Experience matters at Port Royal GC, and if Campos, Villegas, and Gay’s wins here are any indication, you’re never too old to compete in Bermuda. Streelman comes in hot off a T5 finish at the Bank of Utah Championship in his latest start, and has long played his best golf on sub-7,000-yard courses, as exemplified by his last win at TPC River Highlands in 2014.
