Denver Nuggets at Golden State Warriors Preview
In what could be a Western Conference Finals preview and the game that could eventually decide which team ends up with the first seed in the West, the Denver Nuggets will be on the road tonight against the Golden State Warriors.
Golden State currently holds a one-game lead over the Nuggets for first place in the West. They have a 52-24 record, have won seven of their last ten and will be looking to start a two-game winning streak tonight. Denver is 51-25 and are also 7-3 in their last 10 games, but lost their most recent game heading into tonight’s marquee matchup.
In their last matchup on March 8, the Warriors won handily 122-105. Klay Thompson was unstoppable for the Warriors, finishing with 39 points. The Nuggets were led by Malik Beasley, who scored 17 in the loss.

Denver Nuggets Starting Lineup
The Denver Nuggets may be 7-3 in their previous ten games but they aren’t quite finising the season off the way they would prefer and the time to correct mistakes before the playoffs is very short.
“If we don’t figure it out going on this roadie, it’s going to be tough to win,” forward Paul Millsap said. “It’s something we’ve got to look at, for sure, and try to nip it in the bud.”
The majority of the Nuggets’ struggles have come on the offensive end. They had a 115-105 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder but quickly came back down to earth in a 90-95 loss to the Washibgton Wizards on Sunday night.
After going up early in the game, the offense collapsed in the second half.
Golden State Warriors Starting Lineup
The Warriors got past a rough overtime loss to Minnesota by routing the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday 137-90.
“Nights like tonight show our full potential,” Warriors guard Stephen Curry said. “It’s obviously starting to get real with the countdown being what it is. It’s a good feeling right now, so we have to keep going.”
The Warriors jumped on the Hornets early and Charlotte could never get within striking distance as the Warriors defense forced the Hornets into contested shots.
Even with Kevin Durant scoring just 11 points, the Warriors were not without scoring help as Curry and Klay Thompson led the Warriors with 25 and 24 points apiece and Quin Cook had a big night off the bench.
Denver Nuggets at Golden State Warriors Betting Odds

The over/under is 220 points and the Warriors are -420 on the moneyline.
