76ers Analysis

Philadelphia 76ers

Philadelphia has won three of their last five games and scored over 100 points in all three wins. Since trading for Jimmy Butler, the team has looked more in sync and played well in their win over Toronto and kept things close with Boston, who has the fifth best defense in the league.

Butler has played well since going to Philly but he struggled in the loss to Portland, scoring just five points on 2-for-12 shooting. The duo of Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, and Butler has helped Philly be one of the top contenders in the East and will no doubt be in the conversation for a bright future moving forward with a young core.

In their last game out, Philadelphia got past a surging Los Angeles Clippers team 119-113, behind a monstrous performance from Joel Embiid, who finished with 29 points and 19 rebounds. Simmons was close to yet another triple-double, but was one rebound and two assists shy.

Suns Analysis

phoenix suns

The Suns are in rebuild mode and also have pieces for a great future in DeAndre Ayton, Booker, T.J. Warren, and Mikal Bridges. Fans got a glimpse of what that future could look like as Ayton dropped 25 points with Warren chipping in 24. Like any team, there will be growing pains but Phoenix has gotten some surprising wins this season, defeating both the San Antonio Spurs by 30 and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Phoenix will face the LA Clippers, Charlotte Hornets, and Sacramento Kings in their next three games.

In their last game, the Suns were blown out 132-109 by the Golden State Warriors. Kelly Oubre, who was acquired recently, broke out for 15 points. Bridges struggled but has played well, and could bounce back tonight.
