Toronto Raptors at Cleveland Cavaliers 3/11/19: Starting Lineups, Matchup Preview, Betting Odds
Toronto Raptors at Cleveland Cavaliers Preview
The Cleveland Cavaliers are already eliminated from playoff contention so they might not have much to play for as they host the Toronto Raptors tonight.
The Raptors are 48-19 on the season. They are 7-3 in their last 10 and have won their last two games. With the Milwaukee Bucks losing last night, the Raptors are two games out of first place in the East. The Cavaliers are second to last in the Eastern Conference with a 16-50 record. They are 5-5 in the last 10 games and have lost two entering tonight’s game.
In their last matchup this season, on December 21, the Raptors took the win 126-110, with Kawhi Leonard scoring 37 points. Jordan Clarkson scored 20 for the Cavs. A Raptors win tonight would make for a regular season sweep of the Cavs.

Raptors Analysis
The Raptors are looking to close out their three-game road trip undefeated tonight against the Cavaliers. The last two wins, over the Pelicans and Miami Heat, should be momentum changers for Toronto, who had lost their previous two games against the Detroit Pistons and Houston Rockets.
While most teams try to pick up steam and seem to be in sync headed to the final games of the season approaching the playoffs, the Raptors don’t seem to be on the same page just yet.
“We have to play harder as a group and continue to get better,” point guard Kyle Lowry said. “Nothing’s going to be given to you on any given night.”
In their 125-104 win over the Heat, the Raptors tied a team record with 21 three-pointers. With Kawhi Leonard sitting out, the Raptors looked to Lowry, who delivered with a 24 point, 10 assists and seven rebound performance. Pascal Siakam also added 20 points and was one of eight Raptors players that finished with double-digit scoring.
Several of the 21 threes came from shooting guard Danny Green, who made five-of-eight from long range for 15 points. Norman Powell had 15 points, Jeremy Lin and OG Anunoby added 11 apiece, and Patrick McCaw and Serge Ibaka scored 10 points.

Cavaliers Analysis
The Cleveland Cavaliers have lost three of their last four games, including two in a row against the Brooklyn Nets and Miami Heat. In their 110-126 loss to the Heat, the game was close early, but the Heat pulled away in the second half, especially due to a 37-26 third quarter.
Rookie guard Collin Sexton had a standout game in the loss with 27 points. Cavaliers coach Larry Drew has talked about Sexton being a scoring point guard and the need to get other players involved.
“Playing point guard sometimes calls for sacrifices as far as getting other players involved,” Drew said. “Collin is a scoring point guard. He likes to score and can score, but sometimes you have to get your other guys rolling.”
Against the Heat, he was able to dish out six assists, but he’ll have to work on limiting his turnovers.
Kevin Love has played well since coming back from injury, and he finished with 19 points and knocked down four three-pointers in the game. The Cavs also had a nice effort off the bench from Jordan Clarkson, who knocked down six three-pointers and finished with 21 points.
