Do you tune into the Super Bowl to watch football played at the highest level, or to catch some high-priced commercials and a crazy halftime show?

Viewers generally love the blend of sports and entertainment provided by the spectacle and the halftime show for Super Bowl 60 featuring the Seattle Seahawks vs. New England Patriots is sure to entertain with Grammy-winning artist Bad Bunny leading the performance.

The game kicks off 6:30 p.m. ET at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California and the halftime show will run for 12-15 minutes when the first half concludes about 90 minutes after kickoff. Unfortunately, most Super Bowl betting sites will not have lines, but prediction markets will.

Bad Bunny is a Puerto Rican rapper and singer with six Grammy Awards and he was the most streamed artist on Spotify in 2022 and 2025.

His songs are almost exclusively in his native Spanish and he’s maintained that he won’t sing in English, but there could be some surprises during a halftime show that often features guest appearances.

He is squeezing the Super Bowl show into an active tour that includes dates in Santiago, Chile on February 5 and in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on February 13.

Super Bowl Halftime Show History

The NFL switched from commercial sponsors providing halftime entertainment to pop culture icons starting with Super Bowl XXVI in 1992. The league doesn’t pay the performers, instead leaning on the massive exposure that can benefit artists going forward.

After a brief move to more family-friendly artists following Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson’s performance, the NFL shifted back towards using contemporary pop and hip-hop artists with the Black Eyed Peas and Usher leading the Super Bowl XLV halftime show in 2011. The spectacle of Jackson’s “wardrobe malfunction” led oddsmakers to add a slew of novelty prop bet markets related to the halftime show.

Since 2019, Jay-Z and his Roc Nation firm has worked as a consultant with the NFL to co-produce the show. His wife, Beyonce, led the show two years ago at Houston’s NRG Stadium. Kendrick Lamar led the halftime show in 2025 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Lamar’s performance ran 13:20, Beyonce went exactly 15 minutes, Rihanna went 13 minutes in 2023, Dr. Dre and company went 14 minutes in 2022, and The Weeknd’s performance lasted 13:30 in 2021.

Super Bowl Halftime Markets

Betting on the halftime show generally isn’t available at U.S. sportsbooks, but prediction markets are offering odds on the halftime show’s duration and other propositions.

Prices are available on which celebrity guests might join in on the performance and which songs Bad Bunny will perform. There is a market on Bad Bunny performing a song that has not yet been released and what his opening song will be.

You can also trade on the total number of songs performed and there is even a market on what type of hat he will wear, if he wears any headgear.
