This used to be an incredible depth chart top to bottom, but we have seen a lot of players get out of Detroit and end up on World Series winning teams. The Tigers are in the midst of a major rebuild, and they have a good Minor League system to get them back on track again. Miguel Cabrera is still collecting those checks, and is a major reason why Detroit is financially pinned from making bigger moves. However they brought in a few names who have been floating around different teams lately. Jonathan Schoop and C.J. Cron are two nice adds for the Tigers, and also these players who could possibly go onto better deals if they perform well this season. The rotation is interesting, because when healthy Michael Fulmer has shown value, and Matthew Boyd is one of the nastier left-handers in baseball right now. Spencer Turnbull has also flashed some upside.
