2026 Masters: Top DraftKings Showdown Plays & Live Bets Ahead of Round 4
Just one round remains at the 2026 Masters, with the final round set to tee off this Sunday. What could have been an easy coronation for Rory McIlroy has turned into a wide-open affair. A Saturday 73 from Rory McIlroy has evaporated his 6-stroke lead; he’ll head into the final round tied for the lead with Cameron Young at -11, with nine additional players within five strokes of the lead.
With Round 3 in the books, we have new data at our disposal to adjust our approach in DFS formats before Round 3 gets underway on Saturday. Conditions have been perfect thus far, but we should expect the course to get firmer and more difficult as each day goes on.
With a similar forecast in store for Sunday, we’ll look to identify the players who have shown they are most due for a Round 4 breakout.
Take a look at some of the best pillar players for Masters DFS contests and live betting opportunities.
DraftKings Showdown Golf Strategy
DraftKings Golf Showdown Golf is a one-round Daily Fantasy format in which players aim to construct the best-scoring one-round lineup while staying within the allotted salary cap. To identify value in Golf Showdown, it’s typically best to focus on buy-low opportunities on players who’ve shown uncharacteristically poor putting in the prior round. There is also an opportunity to find leverage by identifying favorable weather splits and players who are more likely to card birdies-or-better.
Round 4 Masters Showdown Pillar Plays
At the 2026 Masters, there is a particular focus on players who have proven history on these grounds, with many proven veterans littering the top of the leaderboard through round one. From a statistical standpoint, Par-5 Scoring, Scrambling, and performance in recent Major Championships continue to be of premium importance. Identifying value players who check each of these boxes can provide valuable bonus points in the DraftKings Showdown format. The three players below will be foundational plays in my Round 4 Showdown lineups for these reasons.
Scottie Scheffler ($13,000)
The boogey man is back, and he is lurking in the shadows leading into the final round, sitting just four strokes behind the co-leaders at -7. It may take a second consecutive 65 from Scheffler to win this event, but it would be foolish to rule that outcome out of the range of possibilities this Sunday. Afterall, this is the same player who erased a 5-stroke lead before the final round of the 2024 Players Championship.
The knock on Scheffler prior to this week, was that his approach play had drifted away from the consistent form that made him a weekly threat to win on the PGA Tour. It appears he found something on the range before Saturday, as he led the entire field in terms of both SG: APP and SG: T2G. It feels like an inevitability that Scheffler will remain within arm’s length of the leaders on Sunday, and if he truly has found something with the irons, he is the biggest threat outside of McIlroy or Young to win.
Haotong Li ($6,900)
Finishing position points matter in DraftKings Showdown, so if you’re like me and believe in the upside of the highest-priced player in the field, Scottie Scheffler, you’re going to have to land yourself on some low-priced players at the top of the leaderboard to round out your Round 4 lineups.
Haotong Li is the feel-good, surprise story of the 2026 Masters, playing under par in each of his first three rounds, and currently sitting T7 at -7 for the tournament. His great performance thus far is a surprising one, considering he entered with four consecutive missed cuts and battled a stomach illness earlier this week. However, Haotong has been a riser in majors throughout his career. He finished T4 in his most recent major start, the 2025 Open Championship, he was the first round leader at the 2020 PGA Championship before finishing T17, and he’s made the cut in each of his first two Masters appearances. I don’t believe the moment will be too big for him tomorrow, and anything under par Sunday will pay off this price.
Sungaje Im ($6,800)
The concern around Sungjae Im leading into this week was how close to 100% his health would be. Sungjae had some rust to shake off early in the season, returning from a wrist injury, and missed the cut in his first two starts on the Florida swing. He then showed his full potential at full heath with a T4 finish at the Valspar Championship. Sungjae’s 3rd round at the Masters was yet another step in the right direction post-injury, as he ranked 2nd in the field in terms of SG: T2G, and 3rd in SG: APP.
When healthy, Sungjae has been a course horse at Augusta National, with four top-16 finishes over his first six appearances. Sungjae is currently T29 and nine strokes off the lead, but can make a serious push for another top-16 finish if the putter cooperates on Sunday.
Live Bets To Consider After Round 3
Xander Schauffele Top 10 Finish
Best Available odds:
The king of backdoor top-10 finishes finds himself in a prime position to add another yellow box to his Wikipedia page this Sunday. At -4, Xander is currently T15, just two strokes off the pace to crack the top-10. He has finished top-10 in three of his last four starts leading into this week, and has finished top-10 in five of his last Masters appearances.
Beginning the day seven strokes off the lead, Xander would need to break the Augusta National course record on Sunday to have a chance to win this year. Playing with the freedom of a man with nothing to lose, I expect a strong finishing round from the X man.
Round 3 Head-to-Head Matchup: Patrick Cantlay over Russell Henley
Best Available odds: -108 (DraftKings)
Like his good friend Xander Schauffele, Cantlay has been absolutely lethal in the final rounds of tournaments he does not stand a chance to win. At T9 (-6) leading into Sunday, it would take a near miracle for Cantlay to catch the co-leaders, which is exactly when Cantlay is at his most dangerous.
In his most recent start, Cantlay fired the second-lowest round of the day on Sunday of the Valspar Championship to crawl up to 7th place. Henley and Cantlay shot matching rounds of 66 on Saturday, but Cantlay has looked the part of the more complete player at this week’s Masters. He’s -11 over his last two rounds, and looks poised to ride the hot hand into Sunday.
Best of luck with your Masters DFS lineups and bets!
