Titans Coverage
I believe that the Titans will be celebrating its new partnership with BetMGM this weekend with a win, and a big win at that, against the Bengals. The offense for the Titans is one of the best in the NFL, and the team was able to put up 24 points on one of the best defenses in football, the Pittsburgh Steelers. If it was not for a missed field goal at the end of regulation, then the Titans would have completed the miraculous comeback to tie at 27. However, I digress. If the Titans can put up that much against the Steelers, then Ryan Tannehill may lead this team to 50 points against the Bengals.
The Bengals’ defense is coming off of a game where they let Baker Mayfield, without Odell, burn them over and over for a whopping 297 yards passing and 5 touchdowns. The Titans will have the luxury of forcing the Bengals to commit to the run to stop the elite Derrick Henry; when this happens, Tannehill will have the entire field to use to hook up with Corey Davis or AJ Brown for a big play. The Bengals cannot and will not slow down the Titans’ offense.
Meanwhile, while Joe Burrow has been great, he is not good enough to keep up with such a high-powered offense against his measly Cincinnati defense. I am sure that Burrow will have good stats at the end of the day against an underperforming Titans’ D. However, it will not be nearly enough.
