World Cup Best Player Prop Picks, Odds, Predictions for Wednesday, June 24, 2026
Wednesday brings us six 2026 FIFA World Cup matches as Groups A, B and C play their final Group matches. Some teams have already confirmed their spots in the Round of 32, some have already been eliminated but for most it’s all to play for!
Both games in each Group will kick off simultaneously. We start the day in Group B, as co-hosts Canada plays Switzerland and Bosnia & Herzegovina take on Qatar at 3pm ET. If Canada wins or draws, they’ll finish top of Group A. No matter the result, though, both the co-hosts and Switzerland have already secured their place in the Knockout Stages. It will be an intriguing clash between Bosnia & Herzegovina and Qatar, if there’s a winner in that one it will almost certainly be enough to qualify as one of the best ranked third placed teams.
Next, we have the final Group C fixtures with both kicking off at 6pm ET. Morocco plays Haiti, with Brazil up against Scotland. While it’s likely Morocco and Brazil will finish in the top two, Scotland could still achieve second place if they beat Brazil and Morocco beat the already-eliminated Haiti. The likelihood is, though, that both Morocco and Brazil will win their games, which will result in the five-times World Cup Champions finishing top of the Group. Scotland could still qualify as one of the best ranked third placed teams.
In Group A, co-hosts Mexico have already secured top spot after winning their first two fixtures. They face Czechia and South Korea play South Africa at 9pm ET. All three teams could still finish in second place, which could result in some exhilarating end-of-Group action!
Let’s take a look at the best player prop picks for Wednesday’s World Cup fixtures. Remember to check out our World Cup match trends page for daily odds, insights, and betting data for each game.

Jonathan David (Canada) Over 0.5 Goal or Assist (+180)
After his electrifying hat-trick against Qatar, Jonathan David was instrumental as his side won their first ever World Cup tournament fixture. Aside from his goals, David was heavily involved in creating some fantastic attacking play, resulting in the biggest World Cup win by a non-UEFA or CONMEBOL country in the tournament’s history.
He’s my pick to have an impact in Canada’s final Group game. Of course, Switzerland will be a much tougher proposition than Qatar, but David will be in the thick of everything Canada does going forward. I think he’ll grab a goal or an assist as his side looks to finish top of the Group.
Edin Dzeko (Bosnia & Herzegovina) Over 1.5 Shots on Goal
While Bosnia & Herzegovina cannot finish in the top two Group B places, it’s still possible for the Europeans to qualify for the Knockout Stages. For that to happen, they need to beat Qatar and hope that results in the remaining Groups go their way.
All eyes will be on talismanic captain Edin Dzeko. The striker has a history of scoring hugely important goals for clubs and country, it’s likely he’ll need to do the same to give his side the chance of progressing. Whether he finds the back of the net or not, he’ll be testing Mahmud Abunada in the Qatar goal as often as he can.
Brahim Diaz (Morocco) Over 0.5 Assist
While Morocco aren’t yet assured of a top-two finish in Group C, it’s difficult to see them failing to beat Haiti. A win could still be enough to finish top of the Group, depending on the result between Brazil and Scotland, and the African side will be looking to ensure they do just that.
Brahim Diaz has two assists already in this year’s World Cup. For me, he’ll be instrumental as Morocco confirm their place in the Round of 32. I think he’ll get himself at least one assist in this one.
