NBA Best Player Prop Picks, Odds, Predictions for Sunday, April 12, 2026
This part of the NBA calendar, especially the final week of the season, is often christened as “silly season” due to the amount of injuries, tanking teams, contending squads resting or limiting key assets for the postseason, and more. When it comes to the actual final game of the regular season, the confluence of all these factors creates an even more unpredictable betting environment than the last few days have already been.
Embracing the spirit of that volatility, we’re taking a bit of a different approach for today’s massive 15-game slate. With so many younger players filling in for regulars and likely due for heavy minutes in what could be some high-scoring games, we’ll hone in on three players set for expanded roles Sunday.

2026 NBA Player Prop Betting Tracker: 17-14 (+1.65 units)
AJ Green (MIL) – Over Points + Rebounds
Green is coming off having drained a franchise-record 11 three-pointers in on Friday against the Nets, part of a career-best 35-point night. The sharpshooter is in prime position to finish off fourth season in fine fashion, as he draws a matchup against a short-handed 76ers squad. He’ll also be operating under the same favorable conditions as Friday in terms of the chance for added usage, as all of Ryan Rollins, Kyle Kuzma, Bobby Portis, Myles Turner, Kevin Porter and Giannis Antetokounmpo will remain out.
Green has averaged 15.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting a blistering 47.3% from three-point range in the 19 games this season in which he’s played at least 35 minutes. Given the Bucks’ rotation will be considerably thin Sunday, he could well approximate that amount of playing time, and he’d be doing so with the added benefit of having a lot more usage available due to the absences. Green is averaging 24.1 points + rebounds + assists per 36 minutes with the aforementioned quintet of teammates off the floor, fueling the faith in the Over.

Brice Sensabaugh (UTA) – Over 29.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
Sensabaugh is off the injury report for the regular-season finale and comes in on an extended run of strong production that’s seen him averaging 25.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists across 30.6 minutes over his last 13 game. Sensabaugh is shooting 52%, including 46% from three-point range, in that span, and he’s checking in already averaging a career-high 14.9 points per game.
The 2023 first-round pick owns a 34.4% usage rate, a massive number, and is averaging 39.9 points + rebounds + assists per 36 minutes with all of Keyonte George, Isaiah Collier, Lauri Markkanen and Kyle Filipowski off the floor this season. Those are exactly the conditions he’ll operate under Sunday against the Lakers, and if his recent body of work is any indication, Sensabaugh should once again be set for field-goal attempts in the high teens or low 20s.

Nikola Topic (OKC) – Over 31.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
Topic is teed up for another start to finish the regular season after providing a 14-point, 11-assist double-double that also included two assists and four steals across 39 minutes in a loss to the Nuggets on Friday. As was the case in that game, the Thunder will be playing without multiple starters Sunday. All of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein will sit out, while Luguentz Dort may only see limited minutes.
Ajay Mitchell, Isaiah Joe, Cason Wallace, Alex Caruso and Jaylin Williams are among the second-unit players also sitting, leaving OKC with a very tight rotation that Topic will be a key part of. The 2024 first-round pick could therefore be in the 35-to-40-minute range again in terms of playing time, and he’ll face a Suns team that’s expected to sit out most, if not all, of its frontline players.
