CJ McCollum (ATL) – Over Points + Assists
McCollum has enjoyed a stellar start to the first-round series, shrugging off what can be a tough matchup in that presented by the Knicks to average 32.5 points + assists across 34.5 minutes over the first two games. The veteran guard has shot an impressive 54.8% in that span as well, including 36.8% from behind the arc. McCollum’s usage has also been elevated and encouraging, as he’s averaging 21.0 field-goal attempts per contest.
McCollum also had 23 points + assists in one of his two regular-season meetings against the Knicks, and he’s clearly taken the mantle of one of his team’s offensive leaders in the first two games of the series. McCollum is also now back at State Farm Arena for Game 3, where he shot 36.9% from behind the arc during the regular season. Atlanta should have a renewed fire after stealing a game at MSG, and McCollum should therefore be in store for both heavy minutes and usage Thursday.

Sandro Mamukelashvili (TOR) – Over Points + Rebounds + Assists
Mamukelashvili often played a key role off the bench for the Raptors during the regular season, as well as an occasionally valuable spot starter. The fifth-year pro averaged a career-high 11.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists per contest as well, and he also found the net on a career-high 52.3% of his attempts. Additionally, the Seton Hall product spaced the floor very effectively, as his 38.9% success rate from deep was his best since his rookie 2021-22 campaign in Milwaukee.
Over the first two games of the current series, Mamukelashvili has averaged 9.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists. While he mustered just three points on 1-for-3 shooting in Game 1, he bounced back with a 12-point tally on 62.5% shooting from the floor. The big man also averaged 21.0 points + rebounds + assists on 64.7% shooting, including 45.5% from behind the arc, in three regular-season games against the Cavaliers. Cleveland has surrendered 37.2% three-point shooting since the start of the regular season, including 40.4% from downtown, which could certainly bode well for Sandro’s offensive prospects.

Jaden McDaniels (MIN) – Over Points + Rebounds
McDaniels is another talented big man that put up career-best numbers in multiple categories during the regular season and has also gotten the first-round series off to an encouraging start. However, his current line doesn’t fully reflect his typical body of work, making it one we want to consider jumping on in a pivotal Game 3 for Minnesota. McDaniels has been a solid complementary source of production in the first two games of the series, averaging 15.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists across 35.0 minutes per contest.
Anthony Edwards is once again questionable for Game 3 due to his lingering knee injury, and if the star guard were to be sidelined, it will naturally only brighten McDaniels’ outlook, not to mention boost this opening line of 18.5. Notably, McDaniels was even more successful against the Nuggets during the regular season — he averaged 23.3 points + rebounds over 35.3 minutes per contest in four games — so this 18.5 line is certainly within his reach with what should be another heavy minutes load.
