Kon Knueppel (CHA) – Over Points + Rebounds
Knueppel finished the regular season scuffling a bit with his shot, but the prolific rookie amply proved his ability to light the scoreboard up throughout his first NBA season. Cooper Flagg’s Duke running mate positioned himself as the latter’s stiffest competition for ROY honors by averaging 23.8 points + rebounds + assists across 81 games. Knueppel drained an outstanding 42.5% of his 7.9 three-point attempts per contest as well, and his body of work against the Heat over four games was especially encouraging. Knueppel lit up Miami for 31.6 points + rebounds across 28.3 minutes per contest in that four-game sample. The former Blue Devil drained 50% of his attempts, including 45% from behind the arc, in that span, averaging 16.5 field-goal attempts per game. The Heat wrapped up the regular season surrendering the fourth-most points (27.5) to shooting guards in the last 15 games as well, along with the fifth-most made threes per game to the position in that span (3.78). Toumani Camara (POR) – Over Points + Rebounds + Assists
Camara put together a career-best scoring season in his third campaign, averaging 13.4 points per contest. He added 5.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per road game, and he finished the campaign with a flourish. Camara put up 18.4 points on 50.4% shooting, including 47.7% from behind the arc, over his last 10 games, a sample that included two 23-point efforts, along with 30- and 35-point tallies. The versatile wing put up 24.7 PRA per game overall in that stretch, and Tuesday, he could once again take the floor with Jerami Grant, who’s questionable due to a calf injury. Camara will face a Suns squad that he averaged 25.5 PRA against during his most recent two meetings with while shooting a crisp 47.6%. While Deni Avdija played just a single minute over those two contests, Camara still averaged 23.3 points + rebounds + assists per 36 minutes when sharing the floor with his star teammate this season. Original Line Publish: 20.5
Shaedon Sharpe (POR) – Over Points + Rebounds + Assists
Sharpe was almost a forgotten man during Portland’s stretch run, as he missed 28 games with a calf injury before making his return with two games before the end of the regular season. The talented wing was understandably dealing with some rust upon his return to the floor, as he shot just 28.6% over that pair of contests. Sharpe played 15 and 17 minutes off the bench, totaling 17 points overall, along with six assists and five rebounds. The fourth-year pro had been shooting 45% before his injury, however, so an ascension to the mean after getting a couple of games back under his belt could be in the range of possibilities. Sharpe will be due for a minutes bump Tuesday, and a return to the starting five may also be in the cards. In his two games against the Suns this season, Sharpe averaged 24.0 points, 2.0 assists and 1.5 rebounds while shooting 47.5%, so there’s a positive track record to fall back on. Phoenix also wrapped up the regular season surrendering the ninth-most points (23.6) and 10th-most rebounds (6.9) to shooting guards in the last 15 games, setting Camara up well against a very modest line that’s the result of the scant production he managed in his first two games back from injury.
