Philadelphia Phillies Vs. New York Mets Picks & Prediction

Offensively, the Phillies are averaging 4.7 runs per nine innings, eighth in the majors.  They are fourth in batting average at .255 with a team OPS of .733, eighth in the big leagues.  Philadelphia’s pitching staff is allowing 4.59 runs per nine innings, 22nd in Major League Baseball.  New York is scoring 4.75 runs per game, sixth in the majors.  The Mets are hitting .259 as a team, second in MLB with an OPS of .736 which is seventh in the big leagues.  New York’s pitching staff is allowing 3.08 runs per nine innings, fourth in the majors.  I’m going with the home team Mets in this game to win by over 1.5 runs and the teams to combine for under 7.5 runs.  Tylor Megill will continue to pitch like a future ace, while Pete Alonso and Francisco Lindor will continue delivering big hits for New York.
