The Lakers are somewhat surprisingly 2-point underdogs despite the expected availability of Luka Doncic and a likely minutes bump for Austin Reaves. Los Angeles is a solid 7-4 at home and has a +2.6-point average scoring margin at Crypto.com Arena, and the Lakers are facing a Rockets squad that could have a bit of collective sluggishness hanging over them — Houston has played five games in the last 10 days, with all of those on the road, four of them losses, and three of them going to overtime.
Thompson is running hot coming into the holiday, having averaged 18.0 points and 8.3 rebounds over the 13 games spanning the last month of play. The third-year guard is shooting an impressive 55.5% from in front of the arc as well, while the Lakers are surrendering NBA-high 50% shooting at home, including 58.6% from two-point range. Thompson is an excellent rebounder out of the point guard spot, furthering the case for his prop.
Finally, KD is a solid third leg to this SGP, considering his scoring prowess and the just alluded-to mention of the Lakers’ struggles defensively on their home floor. Durant has averaged 25.6 points per game on the road, as well as 26.0 in his last 11 games overall on 54.1% shooting. Durant is also amply capable of exploiting the Lakers’ recent added vulnerability on the perimeter, as Los Angeles has surrendered an elevated 16 made threes per game in the last three contests.

There’s hardly a better way to begin a Nuggets SGP than with Jokic, who’s averaging 51.8 points + rebounds + assists for the season, including 52.1 at home. The Joker has also lit up the Timberwolves for 26.0 points, 15.5 rebounds, and 10.5 assists across 36.5 minutes over two games, and tonight’s third meeting between the two teams is expected to be both extremely close (Nuggets -1.5) and high-scoring (238.5 projected points).
Randle’s point prop is a solid second leg, considering the versatile big man is averaging 22.6 points per game for the season, as well as 25.0 across two games versus Denver. Randle has scored at least 20 points in 19 of 30 games overall, and as with Jokic, his outlook is all brighter as an integral component of his squad in what is projected to be a competitive, high-scoring matchup.
Finally, we’ll loop in Murray, using the FD’s Alt. feature to coax down his P+R+A prop to an even more manageable figure. Murray is averaging 36.4 points + rebounds + assists for the season, and a markedly better 40.4 over his last nine games. He’s also been highly productive against the Timberwolves in the two prior games this season, putting up 46.5 P+R+A in 38 minutes per contest.
