World Cup Best Player Prop Picks, Odds, Predictions for Friday, June 26, 2026

There are six World Cup Group fixtures on Friday as we see the culmination of Groups G, H and I. While the automatic qualifying spots in Group I have already been confirmed, it’s all to play for in Group G and Group H!

All four sides in Group G can still qualify for the Knockout Stages automatically. In fact, with the exception of New Zealand, they can all still finish as Group Winners. We’re in for an eventful day’s play! It’s a similar story in Group H, where all four of Spain, Uruguay, Cape Verde and Saudi Arabia can finish in the automatic qualifying places.

In Group I, France and Norway have claimed the top two spots, in which order depends on the result when they face each other on Friday. Senegal and Iraq will be fighting for the three points hoping it will be enough to qualify as one of the best ranked third placed teams.

It’s in Group I where we start the day’s play. All final Group games kick off simultaneously. So, we have Norway against France and Senegal vs Iraq with both games starting at 3pm ET.

Following on we have the conclusion of Group H, as Uruguay play Spain and Cape Verde take on Saudi Arabia. Those fixtures are an 8pm ET kick-off. To finish, we have the remaining Group G fixtures. New Zealand play Belgium and Egypt take on Iran, 11pm ET kick-offs for those two games.

Let’s take a look at the best World Cup player prop picks for Friday’s games. Be sure to check out our World Cup match trends page for daily odds, insights, and betting data for each game.

Friday’s Best 2026 World Cup Player Prop Picks

Erling Haaland (Norway) Over 1.5 Shots on Goal (+110)

While both France and Norway have cemented their places in the Knockout Stage, a winner in their fixture will determine who finishes first and who finishes second in Group I. In all honesty, while finishing in first spot often means playing a ‘weaker’ (if I can use that word describing World Cup sides!) opposition, there isn’t much of a difference between the teams either could face. First place in Group I will likely face Sweden in the Round of 32, while second place will, in all likelihood, mean a Knockout game against Ivory Coast.

Kylian Mbappe was in my thoughts for this player pick. I’ve decided, though, that Erling Haaland will be the subject of it today. Simply put, the odds on Haaland represent much better value than a bet on France’s star man.

Haaland has recorded nine shots on goal so far in this year’s World Cup, with six on target resulting in four goals. He’s by far Norway’s man most likely to, he’s in excellent form and is my pick to record at least two shots on target here.

Sadio Mane (Senegal) Over 0.5 Assist

For Senegal to stand any chance of progressing to the World Cup Knockout Stages, they must beat Iraq. Even then, it might not be enough for a team who I predicted to struggle in this year’s World Cup.

Sadio Mane has picked up one assist so far and he’s my pick to do the same in this one. Senegal will need Mane in his top, most creative form if they’re to give themselves a chance of progressing out of the Group.

Mikel Oryazabal (Spain) Over 1.5 Shots on Goal (+145)

Spain have left it late to confirm their spot in the World Cup Knockout Stages. In a Group where most expected them to dominate, it’s possible the current European Champions could actually finish in third place, though this is unlikely.

Still, though, Spain need to win this game to avoid a potential Round of 32 game against World Cup holders Argentina. I think they will, and Mikel Oryazabal will feature heavily. After scoring twice against Saudi Arabia, Oryazabal is expected to start again in this one. He’s on ten shots on goal so far in this year’s tournament, with four on target. I think it’s reasonable to expect the Real Sociedad striker to hit the target at least twice here.
