2 NBA Same-Game-Parlay Picks, Best Bets, & Preview For Tonight (January 28)

We’re primed for a big nine-game slate Wednesday, and there are a pair of three-leg same-game parlay opportunities we’re recommending on FanDuel Sportsbook. As always, these parlays can be played exactly as presented, or bettors can select their two favorite legs and place a wager in that manner.

Pascal Siakam To Score 20+ Points, Josh Giddey To Score 15+ Points, Nikola Vucevic To Record 8+ Rebounds (+191 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

The Bulls and Pacers get together Wednesday night for the third time this season, and FanDuel Sportsbook is projecting a close, high-scoring game that should feature plenty of productive individual performances. As such, we’ll lay out our three-leg SGP with that in mind and hone in on three of the most talented players on the floor.

We can start with one of the linchpins of the Pacers attack in Siakam, whose 23.8 points per game are the second most of his career. The veteran big has been even better over the 15 games he’s played in the last calendar month, averaging 25.3 points on 49.7% shooting in that span, including 40.7% from 3-point range. Siakam is averaging 30.0 points over his first two games against Chicago as well and has reached or exceeded the 20-point threshold in 36 of 45 games, while Indiana has a solid implied team total of just under 118 points, all factors that favor this leg.

We’ll move on to Giddey, who’s had a trio of interesting performances since returning from a multi-game absence because of a hamstring injury. Giddey has averaged a modest 14.7 points in that small sample, but that’s partly a byproduct of atypically low 42.4% shooting and a four-point outlier against the Celtics that was sandwiched by 21- and 19-point tallies. Hitting the 15-point threshold has been nearly automatic for Giddey, who’s done it in 26 of 33 games, with 15 of those instances coming on the road. Indiana is also surrendering the fourth-most points to point guards in the last 15 games (28.8), furthering the case.

We close things out with Vucevic, who’s averaging 9.1 rebounds per game on the season, including 9.3 boards per road contest. The big man has been even more productive on that front in January, when he’s pulled down 9.6 rebounds across across 33.0 minutes over 13 games. Vucevic has gotten to at least eight rebounds in 28 of 45 games overall, including once in two meetings against Indiana. Meanwhile, the Pacers are surrendering the fourth-most rebounds per home game (56.8), as well as the third-highest defensive rebounding rate in that split (78.1%).

Amen Thompson Over 7.5 Rebounds, Kevin Durant To Score 20+ Points, Victor Wembanyama To Record a Double-Double (+270 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

The Spurs and Rockets link up at Toyota Center on Wednesday night in one of the marquee matchups of the slate, and we’re honing in on a trio of stars in this game as well for our same-game parlay.

We begin with Thompson, who’s having a breakout campaign that includes 7.7 rebounds per game. Thompson has been even more productive on that front since early January, bringing down 8.8 boards per contest across his last 13 games. He’s also averaging 8.5 rebounds in his first two games against the Spurs this season, and San Antonio has allowed the second-most rebounds per game to PGs in the last 30 games. Thompson is also seeing 13.7 rebound chances per game and converting them at a solid 56.3% clip, which equates to 7.7 boards per game.

We’ll continue on the Rockets side with KD, who’s one of the safer options across the league to hit or exceed the 20-point mark on any given night. Durant has scored 32 or more points in the last three games, and going all the way back to mid-December, KD is averaging 27.9 points in his last 22 contests while shooting 52.7% in that span. Durant has shot 50% both overall and from three-point range against the Spurs in two games this season — averaging 21.0 points in that pair of games — and he’s averaging 25.6 points per home game.

Finally, we’ll go with Wembanyama and bank on him getting to double-digit points and rebounds, which he’s done on 20 of 32 occasions, including 16 of 23 starts. The big man has averaged just under a double-double against the Rockets in two games this season — 18.0 points and 9.0 rebounds — but he did get there in one of those two games. Wemby is converting an impressive 65.5% of his 16.6 rebound chances per contest and is averaging 25.0 points and 11.5 rebounds per game in his last six, while Houston is allowing 14.3 rebounds per game to centers in the last 15 games.
