2026 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic Bets: Best PGA TOUR Golf Odds & Expert Picks
Rebook your Spirit Airlines flights, we’re heading down to Myrtle Beach! Running opposite the Truist Championship is yet another PGA Tour Event, the 2026 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic.
Although diminished as an “Opposite Field Event”, this has proven to be a not-so-random tournament of sorts, as the site of Chris Gotterup and Ryan Fox’s first career PGA Tour victories. While those first two winners may suggest this is a bomber’s paradise, Dunes Golf and Beach Club has proven to have a bit more naunce than that. Putting has proven to be the great separator here, with in-form ball-strikers and longer drivers off the tee positioning themselves well to score.
Ahead, we’ll dive into a short course preview and my 2026 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic bets.

ONEFLIGHT MYRTLE BEACH CLASSIC BETTING OVERVIEW
Dunes Golf and Beach Club is a 7,347-yard par-71 positioned on the coast of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It features Bermuda turf throughout, and through its first two years hosting, has rewarded players with a combination of above-average driving distance, spike putting upside, and proven ability to navigate windy, coastal tracks.
Dunes Golf and Beach Club is not a positional golf course, but also penalizes wayward misses. It is not treacherously long and features two very short and scorable par-5s, as well as one driveable par-4. Water threatens on select holes, and the layout is surprisingly tree-lined, given its coastal nature. While the Bermuda rough is negligible, players will be forced to punch out of the trees for any significant misses off the tee.
Ryan Fox won in dramatic fashion in last year’s ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic. He chipped in on the first playoff hole to defeat Mackenzie Hughes and Harry Higgs. It was a crushing blow for Hughes (and me as a Hughes ticket holder), who walked up to the 18th hole on Sunday needing to make par on the par-4, 441-yarder.
This event also launched to beginning of Chris Gotterup’s transcendance to PGA Tour stardom in 2024. His victory was far less dramatic, delivering a 4-round masterclass of perfect ball-striking and putting. He cleared Davis Thompson and Alistair Docherty by six strokes to win at -22.
In terms of Comp Courses, Sea Island Resort, Port Royal, and PGA National stand out as the courses that best simulate what Dunes Golf and Beach Club has in store. Each shares the commonality of wind-exposed Bermuda layouts with a steep penalty for significant misses off the tee.
On a secondary basis, Corales Golf Club features similar elevated greens complexes and exposure to gusting winds. Waialae CC, though about 200 yards shorter, shares the same coastal, windy, Bermuda traits and has produced overlapping victories from Chris Gotterup.
Though not relying on a formal model for this event, I’ve looked to players with proven course and comp course history, above-average driving distance, spike Bermuda putting upside, and in-form ball-striking when constructing my 2026 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic card.
MY BETTING CARD: HOW I BUILT MY ONEFLIGHT MYRTLE BEACH CLASSIC BETS
I don’t intend to watch much of the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic at all this week unless I have a Sunday sweat, so I don’t feel compelled to throw in any entertainment bets like FRL. I also have not researched this event nearly as extensively as the Truist Championship, so I don’t have the same conviction to place any props bets.
With that said, I feel great about some of the betting value available in the outright market this week in an event in which so few players are seen as capable of closing out. So, I’ll have my full exposure for the week from an outright perspective (3.5U total to pay out 25U each).
Here is a quick breakdown of the bets I landed on for the 2026 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic. Best of luck with your bets this week!
ONEFLIGHT MYRTLE BEACH CLASSIC BETS: OUTRIGHTS (3.5 UNITS)
Brooks Koepka
My Bet: +1700
Best Odds Still Available:
The man to beat in Myrtle Beach this week, Koepka would certainly fit into the same category as this event’s first two winners, Chris Gotterup and Ryan Fox; big bombers with elite long iron play.
The Brooks of old would find an opposite field event in Myrtle Beach beneath him, but we’re seeing Kopeka in a brand new light this year. It’s not just about the majors anymore for him, as he needs to see the ball go through the hoop and secure his spot in the Signature Events with a win. He is in a class of his own from a talent standpoint in this field, and is in solid overall form this season with four top-20 finishes over his last six starts.
Mac Meissner
My Bet: +3300
Best Odds Still Available:
I ran a mini-model for the Myrtle Beach Classic, plugging in Comp Course History, Recent Form, SG: APP, and Bermuda putting. Meissner, surprisingly emerged as the No. 1 overall player in that mini model, so I’m standing by what the numbers say. Meissner’s recent results on comp courses include a runner up finish at the 2025 Wyndham Championship, the best performance of his early PGA Tour career today. He finished T13 in his 2024 debut at this event, and has four top-30 finishes over his last seven starts.
Blades Brown
My Bet: +5300
Best Odds Still Available:
The teen prodigy continues to put himself in the mix on the PGA Tour level. In five PGA Tour starts this year, he has just one missed cut and three top-30 finishes. Brown went toe-to-toe with Scottie Scheffler for much of the American Express, ultimately finishing T18. And his best result came in the most recent opposite field event, where he finished 3rd at the Puerto Rico Open. Easier scoring conditions seem to be his comfort zone early on, and with two top-3 finishes over his last three Korn Ferry Tour starts, the game continues to look in top shape.
Lee Hodges
My Bet: +5400
Best Odds Still Available:
There are not a ton of proven PGA Tour winners in this opposite field event, so as we look further down the board, I’m drawn to a player like Hodges who can compose himself while in contention. Hodges won the 2023 3M Open, where negotiating threatening water hazards was also a necessity. His approach form has been great leading into this week as well, ranking top-20 in SG: APP over the last 16 rounds. Hodges has four top-20 finishes over his last 10 starts, including top-10s on comp courses at the RSM Classic and Sony Open over that span.
Billy Horschel
My Bet: +6500
Best Odds Still Available:
Putting strength has been a necessity when looking at the top of the leaderboard over this event’s first two years. I believe Horschel profiles well to be this year’s version of Mackenzie Hughes: A veteran who has been there before, and can lean on the strength of his putter to separate when others in this weaker field may falter. Horschel has proven these opposite field events are not beneath him, picking up his most recent PGA Tour win at the 2024 Corales Championship. Fresh off a T6 showing in his most recent start at the Zurich Classic, Horschel will look to keep that momentum going on familiar Bermuda greens.
