2026 Truist Championship Odds: Four Longshots & PGA Tour Sleepers
The 6th Signature Event of the 2026 PGA Tour season is here, as the PGA Tour heads to Charlotte for the Truist Championship at Quail Hollow Club. While the name is new, Quail Hollow has a long-standing history of hosting this event, with in-form bombers regularly rising to the top of the leaderboard.
In this limited field of 72, value can be hard to come by, so it’s as important as ever to dig into the best sleepers to complete your DFS lineups and Truist Championship bets. Standing over 7,500 yards, Quail Hollow is one of the longest courses we’ll see all year on the PGA Tour, so distance, long iron ball striking, and scrambling around Bermuda greens will be essential for contenders. Just like last week’s Cadillac Championship at Doral!

FINDING VALUE IN GOLF DFS PICKS: TRUIST CHAMPIONSHIP
To identify “value” for any given week on the PGA Tour, I find it’s best to understand the consensus key stat profile first. Then, take a stance on the elements of the tournament that may go overlooked. At the Truist Championship, recent form, driving distance, and SG: approach are consensus key areas factored into each player’s price.
From a sleeper perspective, I will emphasize the importance of comp course history at similar long and demanding venues. With Quail Hollow also serving as a past major championship venue – like last year’s PGA Championship – we can expect a stern test in Charlotte this week, in which the longest and most skilled all-around players will contend.
Below, find my favorite golf DFS picks and longshots for the 2026 Truist Championship. Stats reflect the last 36 rounds unless otherwise noted. Each player is listed with the best price in Truist Championship odds.

Kurt Kitayama
I was high on Kurt Kitayama’s prospects as a longshot value at the Cadillac Championship, and a week later, after a T8 finish, I see no reason to hop off now.
Kitayama has sustained an incredible run of form with his irons, now surpassing a year of consecutive starts in which he’s been positive in SG: Approach. Kitayama is best equipped to sustain that run of hot iron play at Quail Hollow this week, as he ranks No. 1 in the field in Prox: 175+, where a majority of approaches funnel to.
Surprisingly, Kitayama has not broken through for much success at Quail Hollow to date, with finishes of MC, T34, and MC over three prior appearances. The lack of course history is undoubtedly factored into his discounted price this week, and it’s entirely the fault of his putter. He’s gained a total of 12 strokes on approach over his last two visits to Quail Hollow. With top-10 finishes in his last two starts, the 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational champion seems to be circling closer and closer to his next PGA Tour win.
Jacob Bridgeman
The Riviera Country Club correlation is tough to ignore, as Max Homa, JB Holmes, and James Hahn have each won across both venues. Bridgeman may fall in line as the next player to join that list, as he announced his presence to the golf world with a statement win at the Genesis Invitational earlier this season.
While Bridgeman has fallen into a mid-season lull, I believe he has staying power as a big event contender. He remains 5th in the FedEx Cup season-long standings, finishing top-2o in each of his first eight starts this season. Bridgeman profiles as a strong total driver, streaky approach player, and one of the best putters on the PGA Tour this season. He’s been especially dominant on familiar Bermuda greens, ranking top-10 in putting on this surface.
Bridgeman may go overlooked after. three consecutive finishes outside the top-30, but he’s a worthy sleeper to consider as he sets out to make his Trust Championship debut at Quail Hollow.
Max Homa
Speaking of that Riviera-Quail Hollow correlation, Max Homa loves himself a trip to Charlotte. This event holds sentimental value to him, picking up the first win of his PGA Tour career here in 2019. Those good times have continued to roll at Quail Hollow since, finishing top-10 in each of his last two Truist Championship appearances here.
Homa tends to have sticky course history on the courses he loves most. He finished T9 at The Masters just three starts ago, marking his third consecutive top-12 finish at Augusta National.
While his ball striking has looked volatile this season, we’ve seen glimmers of his old form materialize recently. With five top-40 finishes over his last seven starts, Homa profiles as a high-floor sleeper option in fantasy formats, especially considering his extensive course history here.
Alex Fitzpatrick
Why stop now? Oddsmakers are hedging against one of the hottest golfers in the field this week, as Fitzpatrick can be found at an even longer price than we saw at last week’s Cadillac Championship, where he finished T9.
He proved he can withstand difficult scoring conditions by winning the Hero Indian Open at 9-under-par. And while he only has a handful of PGA Tour starts under his belt, he’s shown he can get up for big events, finishing T17 in his only career major start at the 2023 Open Championship.
Fitzpatrick’s last six starts across the PGA Tour and DP World Tour now read T9, 1st, 1st, T6, T14, and T23. That sustained level of elevated play dates back to February, so I’ve come to terms with Alex Fitzpatrick as a deserving, competitive PGA Tour player.
Best of luck if you bet or play these golf DFS picks for the Truist Championship!
