2026 World Cup Best Player Prop Picks, Odds, Predictions for Monday, July 6, 2026
The 2026 World Cup Round of 16 wraps up on Monday with the final two sides looking to punch their tickets to the quarterfinals. Spain and Portugal meet at AT&T Stadium in a rematch of last summer’s UEFA Nations League final. The day’s second match features co-hosts USA taking on Belgium at Lumen Field in Seattle.
Spain will look for revenge after falling to their Iberian neighbors in last summer’s Nations League final. Luis de la Fuente’s side have looked sharp throughout the World Cup and are one of two teams yet to concede a goal after four matches. They now face a Portuguese side that has struggled in attack but finds itself one win away from back-to-back World Cup quarterfinal appearances.
The USMNT, meanwhile, will look to reach its first World Cup quarterfinal since 2002 against one of Europe’s strongest sides in Belgium. The USA has been one of the tournament’s most impressive teams and will surprisingly have leading scorer Folarin Balogun available for the Round of 16 despite picking up a red card in his previous match. Belgium arrive having overcome a 2-0 deficit against Senegal in the Round of 32, coming back to win 3-2 in extra time.

Monday’s Best 2026 World Cup Player Props
- Lamine Yamal (Spain) – Over 4.5 Shots (+160)
- Dani Olmo (Spain) – Over 0.5 Goals + Assists (+145)
- Jérémy Doku (Belgium) – Over 2.5 Shots (+170)
Lamine Yamal (Spain) – Over 4.5 Shots (+160)
Despite failing to register a goal contribution in the Round of 32, Yamal was named man of the match for the constant pressure he applied to Austria’s defense in Spain’s 3-0 win last Thursday. The 18-year-old finished with six total shots in 85 minutes and now ranks second on the squad with 3.5 shots per game.
Yamal has now taken five or more shots in two of the three matches in which he has played 45 minutes or longer. He now faces a Portuguese side that has allowed opponents to average 13 shots per game. Yamal had four shots in his most recent meeting with Portugal.
Dani Olmo (Spain) – Over 0.5 Goals + Assists (+145)
Olmo has been one of Spain’s most creative players across their last few major tournaments and appears to be hitting his stride heading into the Round of 16. The 28-year-old has just one assist in the competition but ranks in the top five in both xG and xA after four matches.
His danger lies in his ability to score and create for others. The Barcelona star has created one big chance at the tournament and is averaging one shots assisted per game. Expect Olmo to be at the center of whatever Spain creates against Portugal on Monday.
Jérémy Doku (Belgium) – Over 2.5 Shots (+170)
After a standout season at Manchester City, Doku has struggled to replicate that form in his first World Cup. The left winger also had to leave the team’s camp to be present for the birth of his child during matchday two of the group stage. With any distractions now behind him, Doku will look to help Belgium reach the quarterfinals for the first time since 2014.
Doku is averaging just one shot per game across his three World Cup appearances, well below the just under two per game he averaged for Manchester City across all competitions this past season. With so much on the line and the USA’s tendency to push their wing backs high up the pitch, Doku should have more room to be aggressive in this match. Expect his usual creative output, but also look for him to test his luck from the edge of the box.
