2026 World Cup Best Player Prop Picks, Odds, Predictions for Wednesday, July 1, 2026
The 2026 World Cup Round of 32 rolls on into Wednesday after an exciting start to the knockout stage earlier this week. Fans are in for another three-game slate, featuring one of the tournament favorites, England, in the afternoon, with co-hosts USA closing out the night.
The Three Lions open the day in a 1L vs. 3K matchup against DR Congo at 12 p.m. ET at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. England is heavily favored to advance to the Round of 16 in this matchup. DR Congo earned their spot in the Round of 32 with a dramatic comeback win over Uzbekistan on the final matchday of the group stage, and now face an England side that enters the knockout round unbeaten. Could DR Congo be the latest side to stun a European giant?
Moving into the afternoon, Belgium takes on Senegal at 4 p.m. ET after the Red Devils won Group G on goal differential following a 5-1 victory on matchday three. Senegal qualified for the Round of 32 as the third-placed team in Group I after a 5-0 win over Iraq in the final group match. The two meet at Lumen Field in Seattle, with Belgium slight favorites to advance.
Finally, the USMNT returns to action, reaching the knockout round for its fourth consecutive World Cup. They will look to win their first knockout stage match since 2002 when they take on Bosnia & Herzegovina at 8 p.m. ET at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. The USA has home-field advantage after topping Group D, while Bosnia advanced to their first-ever knockout round as Group B’s third-placed side and enters as a significant underdog.

Wednesday’s Best 2026 World Cup Player Props
- Jude Bellingham (England) – Over 0.5 Goal or Assist (+105)
- Thibaut Courtois (Belgium) – Over 3.5 Saves (+195)
- Sergiño Dest (USA) – Over 2.5 Shots (+450)
Jude Bellingham (England) – Over 0.5 Goal or Assist (+105)
Bellingham has arguably been England’s best player at the 2026 World Cup so far. The Real Madrid midfielder leads the Three Lions with three goal contributions after the group stage and now has five in eight World Cup appearances at just 23 years old. DR Congo will look to make this game as difficult as possible and drag it toward a penalty shootout, where an upset becomes more achievable.
We saw a similar approach from Panama in England’s final group match, only for Bellingham to open the scoring and later set up England’s second goal. The attacking midfielder has all the tools to score or create for others and should have little trouble making his mark on Wednesday.
Thibaut Courtois (Belgium) – Over 3.5 Saves (+195)
Despite playing in what many considered a favorable group, Belgium struggled until the final matchday. Courtois made six saves across three group stage matches, stopping 75% of the shots he faced on target. The Red Devils now face their toughest test yet in a Senegal side arriving in red-hot form.
The African side scored eight goals in the group stage, five of which came on the final matchday. Led by Sadio Mané, Senegal boasts one of the most underrated front threes in the competition, and one that has hit its stride heading into the knockouts. They averaged six shots on target per game and created 3.3 big chances per contest during the group stage. With Belgium’s attack having struggled in the opening round, expect Senegal to find plenty of opportunities to test Courtois in dangerous areas on the counter.
Sergiño Dest (USA) – Over 2.5 Shots (+450)
Dest has thrived in his overlapping right-back role under Mauricio Pochettino but was inconsistent at times during the group stage. All three of his shots in the competition came on matchday two in a tight match against Australia.
With Bosnia likely to set up defensively given the talent gap in this matchup, I expect Sergej Barbarez’s side to employ a similar low block to what the USA faced against Australia. Dest was at his best in that game, with two of his three shots coming from range. The PSV defender has also shown the ability to time runs into the box and has scored that way on several occasions. With Pochettino’s emphasis on getting his wing backs forward, Dest should have multiple opportunities to test Bosnia on Wednesday evening.
