Minnesota’s top players stepped up in a big way on Tuesday night, leading the Wild to a pivotal win over Dallas in game five. Kirill Kaprizov and Matt Boldy were instrumental in their success, combining for two Goals, three Assists, and a stunning eleven Shots on Goal. With their win, the Wild are now in firm control of the series, possessing a 3-2 lead over the Stars.

Heading into game six, the Wild front line will need to continue to overwhelm the Stars, using their versatility to create wider gaps in front of their net. When exposed, Jake Oettinger has been unable to hold his ground, making it easier for the Wild to pull away on the scoreboard.
