Jayson Tatum (BOS) – Over Points + Rebounds + Assists
The Celtics surprisingly dropped Game 2 at home, but they’ve typically surged back from surprise postseason outcomes such as those to hand out some serious thumpings on the road. Boston is a solid 7.5-to-8-point favorite as of late Thursday night, and Tatum has been outstanding over the first two games of the series. The perennial All-Star is averaging 42.5 points + rebounds + assists across 35.5 minutes per game in that pair of contests while shooting a solid 47.2%.
Tatum has come just four total assists short of managing a triple-double in each of those games as well, so his ability to stuff the stat sheet is unquestioned. The Sixers haven’t had a real answer for him even with Paul George and Kelly Oubre available to defend him, and Tatum should continue to be very aggressive Friday — he’s already averaging 18.0 shot attempts per game in the series — with the Celtics looking to avoid a deficit in enemy territory. Consequently, despite the elevated line, this is a viable prop to roll with.

Luke Kennard (LAL) – Over Points + Rebounds + Assists
Kennard has been outstanding while filling in for Luka Dončić, as he’ll come into Friday’s Game 3 averaging 32.5 points + rebounds + assists across 40 minutes over the first two games of the series. To say the veteran sharpshooter has had a hot hand is a massive understatement, as he’s drained 65.4% of his shots, including an even more absurd 72.7% from behind the arc. Kennard has proven amply capable of offering LeBron James and Deandre Ayton a key helping hand and has been integral in Los Angeles’ surprising 2-0 series lead, making this line all the more intriguing.
Kennard has clearly proven capable of blowing past the 21.5 number not just in the series, but also by averaging 27.6 points + rebounds + assists over the four starts of normal duration he logged at the end of the regular season. While a potential return on the part of Reaves would certainly lead to a usage hit for Kennard, the number is low enough and his role seemingly sufficiently secure so as to give him a strong chance of punching this ticket.
Original Line Publish: 21.5
Stephon Castle (SAN) – Over Points + Rebounds + Assists
Castle presents an interesting case with respect to an Over on Friday, as his number is reasonable enough for him to hit even if Victor Wembanyama can receive clearance to play after his ugly Game 2 concussion. However, if Wemby has to sit out at least one game, then this 31.5 will be a borderline steal, considering Castle has a team-high 29.4% usage rate with the big man off the floor since the start of the regular season. The second-year guard also has averaged 38.3 points + rebounds + assists per 36 minutes in that scenario, making this situation all the more appealing.
The first two games of the series have seen Castle deliver 30.5 points + rebounds + assists over 35.5 minutes per game despite the fact he’s shot an abysmal 33.3%, so he’s not struggling to produce in this matchup against the Trail Blazers. Castle also posted 30 PRA over 31 minutes in his one regular-season game against Portland, furthering his case in what should be a very competitive game at Moda Center, and even more so if Wemby sits out.
