Tobias Harris (DET) – Over Points + Rebounds

Harris thrived against his old Magic squad yet again in Game 1, extending a pattern that dates back to the regular season. The veteran forward totaled 17 points, six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal across 36 minutes, making up for a rough 5-for-15 night from field with a 6-for-7 tally from the free-throw line. The struggles with efficiency were actually an outlier as well when it comes to his usual body of work against the Magic, as he’d shot a crisp 56.5% from the field in three games versus Orlando during the regular season.

Harris averaged 18.8 points + rebounds over the last 11 games of the regular season even when factoring in some outlier performances, such as a pair of single-digit scoring tallies. Given the ease with which Harris has produced against the Magic and the fact he managed to get over this threshold fairly comfortably in Game 1 despite the poor shooting, this prop is very much in play.

Original Line Publish: 20.5

Franz Wagner (ORL) – Over Points + Rebounds

Wagner makes for a viable PR over on the other side of the Magic-Pistons matchup, as the talented wing looks to be rounding more and more into form the more distance he puts between himself and the ankle injury that led to an extended absence down the stretch. Even in a Game 1 loss where Orlando mustered just 101 total points, Wagner stood out with 19 points on 7-for-13 shooting while adding five rebounds, four assist and two steals over 32 minutes.

The performance pushed Wagner’s five-game average dating back to April 10 to 23.2 points + rebounds over just 27.0 minutes per game in that sample. Wagner has shot an impressive 49.2% in that span as well, lending credence to the notion he’s essentially knocked off any rust caused by the long layoff at this point. The Magic will be aggressive in their effort to avoid an 0-2 series hole, and with Wagner back to what is essentially a normal allotment of playing time, this is a number he’s capable of clearing.

Original Line Publish: 22.5

Dillon Brooks (PHX) – Over Points + Rebounds

Brooks’ offensive production can certainly be volatile, but this 19.5 number definitely catches the eye following his Game 1 performance and aggressiveness, as well as a lot of his work during the post-All-Star-break portion of the regular season. Despite the Suns’ ugly 119-84 loss in Game 1, Brooks chucked 22 shot attempts, and although he only connected on six of them, he still got to 18 points to push his average over the last eight contests to 16.1.

Brooks is at 19.9 points + rebounds per contest over that same span. The veteran has also averaged 23.8 points + rebounds in five games against the Thunder since the start of the regular season, even as he’s shot a miserable 35.9% overall in that sample in what is an exceedingly difficult matchup. The 19.5 points + rebounds is certainly a number Brooks can eclipse, especially in a game where he should be firing away plenty from deep as the Suns try to avoid a two-game series deficit.

Original Line Publish: 19.5
