PGA Tour Golf Odds, Picks, Predictions: Final 2026 RBC Heritage Betting Card, OAD
The 2026 PGA Tour golf season continues, with Harbour Town Golf Links next on tap to host the RBC Heritage in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, beginning Thursday. Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, and Ludvig Aberg headline among RBC Heritage bets this week, as John Haslbauer provides his favorite picks among all the golf odds for this tourney. You’ll find the top odds across the best sports betting sites.
It’s a major hangover week, as the 2026 RBC Heritage is tasked to pick up the pieces left behind by Rory McIlroy’s win at the Masters last week. However, the PGA Tour has elevated this tourney for the third year to Signature Event status to keep that momentum going. That means a higher purse and a limited field of the best players on the PGA Tour.
The convergence of an elite field with a classic, positional venue like Harbour Town Golf Links creates some interesting betting decisions. The premium skillsets of driving the ball long and straight and precision with approaches beyond 200 yards are not at all applicable to finding success here this week, which explains why veteran plodders like Satoshi Kodaira, Wes Bryan, and Jim Furyk have RBC Heritage wins to their names.
Especially in contrast to the skillsets needed to thrive at Augusta National last week, the RBC Heritage provides a great bounce-back opportunity for accurate course managers.

How I Built My RBC Heritage Betting Card
Scottie Scheffler is a very intimidating presence in the field this week. He’s won once on a Pete Dye track already this season at The American Express, and was a winner here in 2024. While it may be the prudent play to bet conservatively in the “Without Scheffler” markets, I struggle to find the betting value in these limited fields. With that in mind, we are taking World No. 1 head-on this week.
If this becomes a fairway-to-green contest, it opens it up to a much more exhaustive list of potential contenders if they can regularly keep the ball in play off the tee and out-putt Scottie Scheffler on the greens. I’ve prioritized players who fit that bill this week when piecing together my betting card.
From a unit allocation standpoint, it’s back to business as usual for my weekly stake at the 2026 RBC Heritage.
- Outrights – 3.5U in to pay 25U each
- FRL – 0.5U in to pay out 10U+ each
- Full tournament matchups – 1U in to pay out 2U
- Props – 1.2U in to pay out 3U+ each
RBC Heritage Bets: Outrights (3.5 Units)
Xander Schauffele
My Bet: +1500
With four top-10 finishes over his last five starts leading into this event, it’s safe to say Xander is beginning to return back to his prime 2024 form once again. What draws me most to Xander this week in particular is the elite levels he’s taken his approach play to of late. Xander has ranked top-2 in SG: APP in each of the last two weeks, and will now face Harbour Town Golf Links, where elite approach play is essential to separate.
Xander’s form has translated well here since the event elevated to Signature Event status; he’s finished T18, T18, and 4th over his last three appearances. One of the most complete players in this field outside of Scottie Scheffler, Xander looks poised to contend for his second PGA Tour win over his last 10 starts this week.
Ludvig Aberg
My Bet: +2500
I thought I would have to decide between Aberg or Schauffele before odds were released this week, and was pleasantly surprised to see Ludvig’s price drift this far down the board. Aberg’s first PGA Tour victory came at the RSM Classic, another short, positional, wind-exposed, Bermuda layout, so I have no concerns about his game translating on a less-than-driver venue.
A T21 finish at The Masters last week may be the worst result he was capable of, as Aberg ranked 8th in SG: Ball Striking, but could not get anything going on the greens. The putting surfaces at Harbour Town bear absolutely nothing in common with Augusta National’s, so I’m expecting a nice, clean slate for Aberg to reset this week. He carried three consecutive top-5 finishes into The Masters and will look to improve on a career-best T10 showing in his 2024 debut at this event.
Sepp Straka
My Bet: +5500
I continue to go back to Straka on these positional Bermuda venues, as the Georgia local has a great track record playing close to home. Straka has three top-15 finishes over his last six starts, with two top-10s coming on comp positional, wind-exposed venues; he finished T8 at The Players Championship and T2 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am earlier this season.
The results have translated at Harbour Town too, as Straka has finishes of T13, T5, and T3 over his last four visits. Straka ranks top-10 in Proximity: 125-200 yards and SG: Ball Striking (Short Courses), so I see no reason for his decorated track record at this event not to continue in 2026.
Akshay Bhatia
My Bet: +6000
This is a very enticing buy-low spot for Akshay, as he returns to a great course fit on the heels of back-to-back missed cuts. I won’t fault Bhatia much for missing the cut in his Indian Open debut, as DLF has proven to be one of the most eclectic venues in the world of golf. And for as good as he’s looked in 2026, Akshay has yet to crack the top-30 at The Masters, so my expectations for him were still relatively tempered.
At Harbour Town, Bhatia will have the winning 2025 caddie, Joe Greiner, alongside him for an added boost on this strategist’s course. Akshay has ranked top-2 in SG: APP in each of his last to RBC Heritage appearances, so it’s clear he likes the way this course sets up for him. He’s putting better now than he ever has in his career as well, so I believe another Signature Event win may be in the cards for the 2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational champion this week.
Brian Harman
My Bet: +9800
It’s been a very average start to the year for Harman, but his best results have come on shorter, positional courses that mitigate the issue of his lack of distance. He finished T11 at The Players Championship and T19 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am to demonstrate his fit for positional venues against the best players on the PGA Tour.
Harman’s game looked strong at The Masters last week as well, finishing T33 at Augusta, so we should expect the Georgia native to keep the momentum going in his neck of the woods.
Harbour Town has been a comfort course for Harman, finishing T7, T12, and T3 since the tournament took on Signature Event status in 2023. Harman ranks top-15 in Driving Accuracy and Comp Course History, so there’s reason to believe the major champion can break through for his first career RBC Heritage win this week.
RBC Heritage Bets: First-Round Leader (0.5 Units)
Sam Burns
My Bet: +4000
It was exactly the sort of whirlwind Sunday major performance we should have expected from Sam Burns, last we saw him at The Masters. I left last week feeling very optimistic about Burns’ overall game, and there’s no reason to believe his heater should stop on this familiar Bermuda setup. Burns will look to notch the first-round lead for the second consecutive week at the RBC Heritage.
Akshay Bhatia
My Bet: +4500
Akshay is an aggressive player with spike approach and putting upside. That lends itself well to first-round scoring, and I believe he has a ceiling with his irons that few others in this field can match. If the putter stays hot, he’ll be a player to watch on Thursday.
Daniel Berger
My Bet: +5000
The dreaded last man off my card this week, I have some reservations behind Berger’s ability to win in this loaded field, but it would not surprise me to see the Florida native get out to a hot start on this Bermuda layout. Berger ranks top-5 in Course History here and has demonstrated great ball striking form over the last month.
Nick Taylor
My Bet: +6000
It’s been an underrated start to the year for the 5-time PGA Tour winner, who has only one missed cut over his last 10 starts. At his best, Taylor is a threat to go low on shorter courses that reward accuracy and spike putting. He is a riser in windy conditions, as he showed in his season-best T13 finish at the Sony Open.
RBC Heritage Prop Bets (2.2 Units)
Full Tournament Matchup: Ryo Hisatsune over JT Poston
My Bet: -115
Often, my matchup bets are targeted at players I’m actively fading. That is not necessarily the case with JT Poston, whose course history is among the best and most consistent in this field. However, when looking holistically at recent form, course fit, and course history, there is so much more to like about Histatsune this week.
Ryo has five top-15 finishes over his last eight starts, demonstrating a balanced baseline across the four strokes gained categories throughout. His best results have come on positional venues too, finishing T13 at The Players and T8 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. A T18 finisher last week, I’ll continue to back Histatune as one of the most undervalued weekly options on the PGA Tour.
Top-10 Finish: Xander Schauffele
My Bet: +200
Xander’s backdoor top-10 finish at The Masters last week was as predictable as it was impressive. That makes four top-10 finishes over his last five starts now leading into the RBC Heritage. With Rory withdrawn from this event, I fully expect Xander to be a factor in this tournament come Sunday, and am treating this as outright insurance from a potential Scheffler runaway.
One And Done
My Pick: Xander Schauffele
Yes, Xander will be a factor in upcoming majors and signature events this season. However, the purse is still substantial at this Signature Event, and the competition is considerably weaker this week than the high-purse events to follow, with no McIlroy, Rahm, and DeChambeau to be found at Harbour Town.
I’m confident enough to bet Xander at a short number this week, so I’m not concerned about using him in OAD this early in the season, especially considering that Jordan Spieth and Russell Henley should command the highest ownership.
If not Schauffele, I would also consider playing Scottie Scheffler, Ludvig Aberg, or Russell Henley in OAD.
