Kicking off the second round of the playoffs, the Carolina Hurricanes battle it out against the Philadelphia Flyers who are fresh off of an upset over the Pittsburgh Penguins. Their suffocating coverage was on full display in game six, holding the Penguins off the board in their 1-0 win.

Unfortunately for the Flyers, negative regression looms large against Carolina as the Hurricanes are a far higher quality of opponent on both sides of the ice when compared to the Penguins. Especially on the defensive end, nearly matching the Flyers output in Expected Goals Against. With Philadelphia lacking the versatility that is needed to break through the Hurricanes back line, expect the Flyers to struggle to score and be held under their team total.
