San Antonio Spurs vs. Minnesota Timberwolves Game 4 Preview, Picks & Odds for Sunday, May 10, 2026

Game 4 between the San Antonio Spurs (2-1) and Minnesota Timberwolves (1-2) is set for 7:30 p.m. Eastern on NBC. Donte DiVincenzo is the only rotation player on the injury report for both squads.

Can the Timberwolves tie the series in Game 4? Or will the Spurs head home with a commanding 3-1 series lead?

Spurs vs. Timberwolves Betting Analysis

Victor Wembanyama was absolutely sensational in Game 3. He joined Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Shaquille O’Neal as the only players in NBA history to record at least 35 points, 15 rebounds, and five blocks in a playoff game. The Spurs were +16 during Wembanyama’s 36 minutes and -9 during the 12 minutes he rested.

However, the Wolves should feel optimistic about their chances in this series despite back-to-back losses. They scored one point during the first seven minutes of the game, shot 38.4% from the field, lost the free throw and turnover battle, and yet probably would have won the contest if Wembanyama did not have an all-time performance.

Minnesota’s physicality and length also stifled San Antonio’s guards, and the Wolves dominated the glass in Game 3. Julius Randle and Rudy Gobert are too big and physical as rebounders for San Antonio when Wembanyama is off the court.

Wembanyama’s minutes are worth monitoring in the upcoming games as the series becomes more intense and desperate. Can he play 38+ minutes without becoming gassed and diminished should San Antonio need him to close out games? If so, will the Spurs even risk it given the injury concerns?

The best bet for Game 4 is taking Minnesota to cover the 4.5-point spread and win the game. Anthony Edwards is looking healthier by the day, and the Wolves’ size and fearlessness allow them to compete with San Antonio and sometimes overwhelm them. Jaden McDaniels is also locking down De’Aaron Fox. Plus, it’s unlikely that McDaniels and Randle combine to shoot 8-for-34 (23.5%) from the field again in Game 4.
