UEFA Champions League Anytime Goal Scoring Picks, Odds, Predictions for Tuesday, May 5, 2026
Arsenal got a little extra pep in their step on Monday without playing a match — thanks to a wild 3-3 draw between fellow title contenders Manchester City and Europa League hopefuls Everton, the Gunners now just need to win their final three matches to take their first league title since 2004. And on Saturday, they helped get into that position by blanking Fulham 3-0.
They can also get to the UEFA Champions League final with one more 90-minute performance on Tuesday, having survived the away leg to Madrid last week with a 1-1 draw. It could have been more, but a penalty to David Hancko for stepping on Eberechi Eze’s foot was reversed by VAR, preventing a third goal scored from the spot in the contest.
Consider these three players as anytime goalscorers in Tuesday’s battle.
- Viktor Gyökeres, Arsenal
- Bukayo Saka, Arsenal
- Antoine Griezmann, Atletico Madrid

Viktor Gyökeres, Arsenal
The Swedish striker’s on a bit of a heater, having scored the lone penalty for Arsenal in the semifinal first leg and then getting a brace against Fulham — getting him to four goals in the last five Premier League matches and 14 goals on the season. He also spent the most recent international break scoring a hat trick against Ukraine and a goal against Poland to punch Sweden’s ticket to the World Cup.
Open play goals are hard to come by against the perennially stingy Atleti defense, but Gyökeres is likeliest to step up for a PK should it come to that, and he’s also the likeliest to get a goal should it not come to that.
Bukayo Saka, Arsenal
The dynamic winger has struggled with injury of late, but was allowed 45 minutes on Saturday, and rewarded manager Mikel Arteta with a goal deep into the first half, his seventh of the season.
He was pulled in part to manage his matchload with Tuesday in mind, and although he might at most go 60 minutes against Atleti, it’s more than enough time for him to break down a defender and put one in.
Antoine Griezmann, Atletico Madrid
Griezmann’s been an Atleti player long enough to have featured the last time the team reached the Champions League final — a bitter loss in PKs to rivals Real Madrid back in 2016. A decade later, and Griezmann — whose path took him to Barcelona and then back to the capital city — has his last chance at European glory, with a summer move to MLS’ Orlando City already decided on. =
Coming to London only having secured a home draw will be challenging for Diego Simeone’s team — Griezmann’s veteran experience could not only prove useful to keeping the team organized, but also in breaking down a defense that’s been building its own reputation over the course of the season, giving up less than a goal a game through most of a Premier League season.
