UEFA Champions League Anytime Goal Scoring Picks, Odds, Predictions for Wednesday, May 6, 2026
Wednesday’s Champions League semifinal match between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain boils down to two words: Expect goals.
Last time out, the teams combined for nine goals in a wild 5-4 affair that tipped to the PSG hosts looking to be the first back-to-back champions since Real Madrid did it in 2018. But having scored four goals last week, and taking it back to Allianz Arena for the return leg, it’s conceivable that Bayern could advance to face an already-awaiting Arsenal in the final in Budapest on May 30.
With all that in mind, consider these three goalscorers heading into Wednesday’s contest:
- Ousmane Dembélé, PSG
- Harry Kane, Bayern Munich
- Michael Olise, Bayern Munich
Ousmane Dembélé, PSG
Of the PSG goalscorers this season, Dembélé is the most prolific, and scored from both the spot and in open play in the first leg of the semifinals. Dembélé aims to have a busy next few months, ideally getting to help defend PSG’s title following a win on Wednesday, and then heading to North America as part of a loaded France team that will figure into the narrative as one of the favorites. Dembélé, of course, already has a World Cup title to his credit, barely out of his teens when he made the 2018 squad that won in Russia.
His team might not put up five goals again, but Dembélé is the most likely of the Ligue 1 reps to get on the scoresheet.
Harry Kane, Bayern Munich
There’s a chance for a really incredible storyline to unfold should Bayern get to the finals, and it’d be all the more delicious if Kane — who scored in the first leg on a PK — got at least a goal to send his club to Budapest. Before Kane was at Bayern, of course, he was the talisman striker for Tottenham Hotspur, tormenting Arsenal fans with clutch goals to add to one of the most heated rivalries in soccer. Though it would be with a new team that’s still a bit jarring for Premier League diehards, and it would be in Budapest — and far removed from the legendary White Hart Lane or Emirates Stadium — a Kane-led team playing Arsenal in a final would be an incredible throwback. Since his goal odds are expensive, go for O1.5 for better value.
Michael Olise, Bayern Munich
Olise got a goal during the first leg, and he’s third in goals in all comps this season, well behind Kane but just behind Luis Diaz. Like Dembélé, Olise also is likely to figure into France’s World Cup plans, though the Les Blues midfield has no shortage of talent and only so many spots to dole out (and certainly they’ll find a way to take Rayan Cherki to the show). Olise is all but an inked-in selection, but certainly showing out in both legs of a European semifinal would be a good way to remind head coach Didier Deschamps what he’s got. (Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany already knows.)
