UEFA Champions League Match Betting Previews, Odds & Analysis for Wednesday, May 6, 2026

Bayern Munich is set to host PSG on Wednesday afternoon for the final leg of the Champions League semifinals. Arsenal await the winner of this tie after defeating Atletico Madrid 1-0 on Tuesday afternoon.

The first leg between PSG and Bayern has been deemed by many as an all-time classic featuring two elite squads. The nine-goal thriller at the Parc de Princes was the highest-scoring semifinal match in Champions League history, with PSG just barely coming out on top 5-4.

Can PSG hold on to its one-goal advantage and advance to its second-straight UCL final? Or will Bayern overcome the deficit in front of its home crowd at the Allianz Arena?

Let’s break down Wednesday’s Champions League semifinal second leg between Bayern Munich and PSG below.

Bayern Munich vs. PSG Odds & Analysis

The Champions League semifinals featured two polar opposite matchups, with Bayern and PSG possessing two of the most prolific attacks in club football. On the other hand, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid are two defensively minded squads, with Arsenal arguably having the strongest backline in the world at the moment.

After what we witnessed in the first leg of this matchup, defense will likely come at a premium when these teams meet on Wednesday afternoon. Neither team wasted any time showcasing why they have been among the strongest attacking teams in the tournament so far.

Harry Kane opened up the floodgates, scoring the first goal of the tie from the penalty spot in the 17th minute. The two squads would go on to combine for five first-half goals, with Luis Enrique’s side taking a one-goal advantage into the intermission.

Ousmane Dembele was active in the first half, finishing the first 45 minutes with two goal contributions. Bayern found success attacking the right side of the pitch, with French native Michael Olise giving PSG’s Nuno Mendes trouble for much of the afternoon.

Both clubs made pivotal responses whenever momentum seemed to be on the other’s side. This carried over into the second half, when Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia each scored their second goals of the game, and it appeared PSG was about to run away with a victory.

Not even 10 full minutes later, Bayern’s Luis Diaz and Dayot Upamecano found the back of the net, and PSG’s advantage was back to just one.

While Bayern would certainly prefer to be up, or at the very least tied, heading into the second leg, being down one goal returning home isn’t the worst spot to be in. Vincent Kompany’s squad will rely heavily on the die-hard atmosphere that made Bayern the strongest home team during the league phase of the UCL.

You can expect another high-scoring affair when two lethal front threes cross paths for the second time in a week. Despite a spectacular season from the German giants, the reigning Champions of Europe will find a way to hang onto that one-goal lead and see themselves into the Champions League final for the second consecutive season.

Our DFS lineup for Wednesday’s Champions League semifinal is captained by Kompany’s left winger, Diaz. The Colombian attacker has been world-class this season, and has now reached 10 G/A in the Champions League after scoring last week. The 29-year-old has scored three goals in his last two matches against PSG. Expect Diaz to contribute to a goal or two as Bayern look to come back in this semifinal tie.

Our first flex position belongs to Diaz’s running mate, Olise. The Frenchman exposed Mendes in last week’s match and was easily Bayern’s most dangerous attacker for the majority of the

contest. With a goal in last week’s game, Olise has now scored or assisted in four straight UCL matches and three straight fixtures across all competitions. The 24-year-old leads the UCL in assists this season and will continue to be a focal point of Bayern’s attack in this match.

Our next two flex spots belong to two of PSG’s front three, Dembele and Desire Doue. The pair of French attackers wreaked havoc on Bayern’s defenders in the first leg and will be poised to do so again on Wednesday afternoon. While Doue failed to find the back of the net himself, the 20-year-old had a strong outing, assisting both Demebele and Kvaratskhelia in the first leg. The reigning Ballon d’Or winner finished the first leg with two goals and an assist, bringing his G/A total to 5 in his last two UCL matches. Both players seem inevitable and will make their mark on this game at some point.

PSG’s Vitinha makes the lineup as a budget option after spending so heavily on attackers from both squads. The Portuguese midfielder had a typical strong outing, controlling the midfield as he so often does in the first leg. The 26-year-old was not fortunate enough to contribute to any of the five goals; however, his quality in the midfield helps him rack up fantasy points in a hurry. While it’s been some time since Vitinha’s last goal contribution, PSG’s number 17 is no stranger to rising to the occasion when his squad needs him most.

Bayern’s Aleksander Pavlovic rounds out our lineup after a spectacular showing from the youngster in the first leg. The 22-year-old has quietly scored or assisted in each of his last two UCL games from his defensive midfield position. At just $4,600 of our budget, Pavlovic is a no-brainer based on the output he’s shown in recent weeks.
