Week 12 College Football Selections: DraftKings Pick6 (Saturday, November 15)
Below are three key player projections for Saturday’s slate, along with detailed breakdowns of why each selection makes sense.
USF QB Byrum Brown: More Than 0.5 Rush + Rec TDs
USF quarterback Byrum Brown continues to be one of the most dynamic dual-threat weapons in the AAC. Whether operating in designed runs, escaping pressure, or executing RPO concepts, Brown consistently finds ways to put stress on defenses.
Against Navy, Brown’s mobility becomes even more valuable. Navy’s defense is disciplined but can be susceptible to quarterback runs and red-zone misdirection. Brown already has a strong track record of scoring with his legs, and USF routinely leans on him near the goal line.
Lean: More Than 0.5 Rush + Rec TDs
Pitt RB Desmond Reid: Less Than 40.5 Rushing Yards
Pitt’s offense has been inconsistent all season, and running back Desmond Reid enters a tough matchup against Notre Dame, one of the nation’s more physical and fundamentally sound front sevens.
The Fighting Irish have been excellent at eliminating early-down rushing lanes, forcing opponents into passing situations. Reid has struggled to find efficiency on the ground in several games this year, and Pitt’s offensive line hasn’t consistently created space.
If Notre Dame jumps ahead early, as many expect, Pitt may abandon the run altogether, further limiting Reid’s touches.
Lean: Less Than 40.5 Rushing Yards
Alabama WR Germie Bernard: More Than 63.5 Receiving Yards
Even in a season of transition, Alabama continues to turn out explosive playmakers, and Germie Bernard is emerging as one of their most reliable downfield threats.
Facing Oklahoma, Alabama is likely to attack through the air to keep pace with the Sooners’ offense. Bernard has shown the ability to separate vertically, win intermediate breaks, and create chunk plays after the catch. His target volume has been trending upward, and Oklahoma has given up multiple big receiving performances this season.
Expect Alabama to lean on Bernard when they need explosive production.
Lean: More Than 63.5 Receiving Yards
